No the best Staff helped but required a lot of negotiation that should not have been needed. The lobby need new tile. The elevator to the garage is rickety. The hotel is nice but needs to be kept up better.

Pros and Cons to this Hyatt We stayed her 2 nights on the 8th floor. PROS: comfortable King bed, block out curtains, good iron, spacious bathroom with good water pressure, very spacious lobby for gathering, friendly food area staff selling foods & Starbucks coffees, walking distance to numerous downtown restaurants. CONS Neither breakfast nor lobby coffee nor parking are included - all are extra charges. Could somewhat hear street sounds Saturday night despite being on 8th floor. I told the front desk about the very noisy, constantly clicking on-off-on-off-on-off room AC: she said "Well some of the rooms aren't upgraded yet" & was sure it wasn't an electrical short! We had friends staying in other rooms who did have quiet, upgraded systems but ours was loud enough to ruin our sleeping so will look to stay elsewhere next trip. If you go soon, avoid room 808.

I Would Never Stay Here Ever Again Worst hotel stay experience of my life and unfortunately it was my on my birthday. They knew that, it was in the notes and they checked my ID and still decided to ruin my weekend for me. Valet practically asked me what i was doing there once i parked. Surprised that i was checking in. The guy at the front desk was just as bad. No greeting, no warm welcome, nothing. He then proceeds to assign me a room in a horrible location with a horrible view of a rooftop and buildings blocking the light. It may as well have been a brick wall there (rm 517). I was placed in a shared corner with a family with 3 small children under 5y. At 7 am men in full PPE were at my window on that hideous rooftop of a view power washing for nearly three hours. I could not sleep in it was so loud and directly next to my window. I had a baby last year a week before my birthday and could not celebrate. I just wanted a nice experience away from NYC and to sleep in on the first weekend in a year that I was away from the baby. Instead I had the worst and most disturbing hotel experience of my life. Even as a member this was one expensive nightmare might i add. I would have much rather been turned away upon arrival then to have had to experience the disgraceful service at this Hyatt. Housekeeping and Starbucks are the only things that this place has going for it. DONT STAY HERE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, YOUR EXPERIENCE OR YOUR COMFORT.

Old Hotel Despite the nice appearance of the lobby and rooms there are deficiencies. The elevator to garage didn’t work on checkout and had to carry luggage downstairs without help. Also no regular restaurant on site. Food that is available is under par and expensive.

How low can you go? First impressions matter, and Hyatt Regency, Morristown, dropped the ball. The first room I was given (Room #314) had a cracked sink with peeling paint. While I was moved to Room #411, it’s disappointing this happened. Hyatt did not provide a sufficient remedy.
