Mislead We went to New Jersey to family. I booked a suite that held 5 people. I was to switch to 2 room adjoining, because it wasn't available do occupants not vacating because of illness. I was to be charged for one room only and was charged for 2 room. FY

Subpar filthy health code violation Let me enumerate the reasons you should NOT stay at this hotel: 1) They only provide cleaning once a week, but you would think they would clean between guests. I don't believe they do. The floor of our bathroom was sticky, so my husband wiped it with a wet washcloth, thinking it had not dried properly. It came back a dark grey (Photo attached) and, no, that isn't our fingernail clipping on the floor (Photo attached). 2) The kitchen was dirty, with the fridge door crusted over with smeared food, and the couch cushions were stained. The walls in the bathroom were splattered with who-knows-what and clearly hadn't been wiped down in some time. 3) With a year of shutdown, you'd think they would keep busy with some maintenance items but the baseboard in the bathroom was falling off the wall and the shower had separated from the wall (photos attached). 4) Breakfast is grab-and-go, but if breakfast consists of boxed cereal with no milk, does it really constitute breakfast? The front staff (very nice people) gave my husband packs of coffee for the room since there wasn't any at the grab-and-go but packs of coffee are useless if the coffee maker is broken. I could go on but the problem is obvious. It was a horrible uncomfortable stay.

Dirty room & they put a $400 hold on my card I was just passing through and needed a place to stay, and this hotel was the best price at the last minute for a Marriott hotel. I don’t mind paying more but these hotels are supposed to be nice, but this was far from that. First of all, they put a $250 security hold on my card plus the cost of the room, that’s ridiculous. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels and they don’t do this. When I got to the room, the toilet was dirty, hair in the shower, and the closet mesh drawer had trash and food crumbs in it. I just decided to clean the room myself as I didn’t have any hope that changing rooms would be any different based on the look of the overall property. I read other recent reviews and I shared the same experiences. Dirty rooms, large $ hold on my card, and skeezy hallways. It definitely wasn’t a welcoming or comfortable place, it reminds me of a low end super 8 motel with lots of sketchy people. I’m very disappointed that Marriott would even run a hotel like this.

Marriott should be embarrassed to have this as part of their brands This hotel is disgusting. The room was dirty. Dirty dishes were left from pervious occupant. Carpet was "gross." Noisy throughout the night. Odors throughout. Management was informed that there was no more milk at breakfast and their response was to go to the nearby Comfort Inn.

Avoid this hotel! Avoid this hotel! The hallways smell like trash, it’s very run down and not up to Marriott standards and those aren’t even the “best” part of our story. Our room had been used when we arrived: the toilet was recently used (evidence was left), the soap was out of the box, the toilet paper had gotten wet and was put back on the holder and crumbs were everywhere, just for starters). We switched to another room but it was only marginally better. Do not stay here, regardless of the price!
