Great economical place to stay near Renfro Valley Stayed here while viewing a performance at the Renfro Valley Theater. This is a great place to stop. It has a beautiful view, great meal at the next door mom and pop restaurant, gas stations nearby, and only minutes from the venue. While this is an older property, the rooms are large and updated. The front desk is helpful and will make you coffee if you ask them. The only thing they could improve upon was the breakfast.

Nice place for the price Stayed here on my way to Cave City and was another nice stay. The front desk guy was friendly and got me checked in very quick and the room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I can see needs updated is the heating and ac unit. It was quite loud and needed a good cleaning but it did work. I had room 103 comfortable beds and lots of pillows.

Friendly staff May have been the owner who checked us in. He was out early in the morning cleaning rooms. Very nice fella. My 4 stars are based on what we paid for, which was a budget hotel. Water pressure was great! Beds are dated and I was worried my back would hurt today. Actually didnt turn out to be that bad. We slept well and no one had any aches from the beds. Room was clean, no bugs and looked like they actually change the bed skirts. Box springs are covered. Outside of microwave cold have used a cleaning, but that wasn't a deal breaker. Rooms are dated as most budget hotels are. Was not an issue for us. Small fridge and microwave in room. Breakfast is minimal, again, it's a budget hotel. Bagels, toast, oatmeal, cereal and fruit. Juice, milk and some pretty good coffee. Quiet hotel. Would stay again if in the area.

Check Your Breakfast BEFORE You Eat It! Stayed at this place on our way North from Florida to Ohio. We have a small dog, so Econolodge is normally where we stay during our Fall and Summer trips. This place needs lots of work. Our room had lime green walls, heavy burgundy drapes and rust colored bed spreads. We had a handicapped room on the lower level. I was shocked to see a bath tub versus a walk in shower. The toilet in the bathroom was low to the floor. Having a bad back, it was hard for me to use it. I had to push off from the bath tub to get up. The tub was not scrubbed properly. No way would I have taken a shower without wearing flip flops. I am an early riser and my husband sleeps later, so I slipped outside to enjoy the fresh mountain air. I was impressed with the landscaping. I walked past the office and noticed freshly brewed coffee. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. Although there is a small coffee pot in the room, I made three trips to the office to wake up without disturbing my husband. On my last trip, I grabbed a package of small chocolate donuts and a honey bun for the road trip ahead. I ate the honey bun, which was fresh and tasted good. While opening the chocolate donuts, which were factory sealed, I noticed what appeared to be mold. It was small white spots that almost looked like powder from white powdered donuts. Chocolate donuts should not have that on them. My husband ate them anyway. He was sick the next morning. He ran a high temperature and had severe diarreah for three days. We both feel it was the donuts. CHECK THE FOOD BEFORE YOU EAT IT!!! I would NOT stay at this location again.
