Decent stay in Virginia Chose this hotel because of availability. Pricey during summer at over $200 a night and they lock out any special rates and reward stays. My room was clean, breakfast was okay, grounds clean, bed soft but comfortable. The bathroom vents connected to the adjacent room do you can hear a lot of noise from your neighbor. Parking seemed okay, lots of boaters. There are no restaurants close but Walmart is within walking distance. I may stay again if everything else is booked.

Best option in the Virginia, Minnesota area. We stay in the Virginia, MN every year on the way back from our fishing trip. We've also stayed at the Eveleth Super 8 and believe the Mountain Iron Comfort Inn is much better. The facilities are more modern, the staff is very clean and professional, the rooms have a spacious bathroom and are overall very nice, and the breakfast has good options. Price was very comparable to the Eveleth Super 8 but this hotel is the better choice.

Impressive new hotel We loved this hotel for its all-around look. The guest service person named Benjamin demonstrated excellent customer service and went the extra mile by checking in with us to see if we were satisfied with our room. The room was roomy with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. Television featured many DirecTV channels. The breakfast was outstanding; lots of variety to choose from while dining in a large area. There are retail outlets nearby, including a large Walmart. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Tight Parking Lot For Zero Reason This IS a good hotel. I just ran into logistical (snow) problems yesterday. I have no idea why the hotel was "sold out" on a random Tuesday night in March. The hotel needs to plow the (albeit ridiculous, this year) amount of snow we have received this winter, WAY better. I drive a semi for a living. There was no way I was able to even back in to the semi parking spot. I've stayed here in the summer months without a problem parking on-site. There is no way I could've cleared the tight quarters with the giant snowbanks with a full-length semi truck. My 4th time staying here in the past year. There were too many boundaries in my extremely large vehicle navigating the parking lot. Please DO BETTER!
