Quality Inn Mullins - Marion

Don’t stay here 1. Found bugs in bed. 2. Hallway filled with smell of pot. 3. Given a smoking room despite asking for non-smoking room. Hacked all night and had to use my inhaler. 4. Patrons outside building smoking and drinking. 5. 2nd floor hallway air conditioner extremely noisy. 6. Room air conditioner sounded like a car reving up every 10 minutes. 7. This is like a Motel 6

Marie’s visit The room was clean and neat even though outdated. The bathroom was clean and the water was hot for showers. We were told that if we wanted a room with a king sized bed it would be upstairs and there were no elevators. We did not eat breakfast as we had to leave early. Never saw any bugs nor did we wake up with bites on our arms and legs ( as reported by another review). The staff greeted us promptly when we arrived and checked out. Both ladies were warm and friendly.

Rundown Spent one night here before my sons wedding in Mullins. Upon checking in the price which I had been given at reservation wasn't honored. The front desk girl was extremely rude and said "It is what it is, I can't do anything about it, I'm the only one here, do you want the room or not?" I had no choice but to stay at that point. The hotel is very rundown. No elevator, stairwells were very dirty. My daughter found hair in her bed. Had many other family members staying and they all had complaints about this hotel. Drive the extra 10 minutes and stay in Latta.

Wow, Front Desk Ladies! Our room was very clean, quiet & had everything we needed. Stayed 2 nights & left the key in the room the 1rst night so, went to the Front Desk the following morning to get a new one. And...there she was...the guest who, very loudly insisted on seeing the Manager. The Manager was not in at 7:10 am...and this really set her off. She went on a rant about seeing bed bugs in her room. As someone who is incredibly susceptible to these terrible little creatures, if there was a bed bug in a high-rise hotel, on the 15th floor & I was on the 3rd floor..he would find me. She described them as BIG, LONG ...and all over her room. Well, in actuality, they are tiny and VERY hard to see. I left, after staying 2 nights..with NOT one bite. This incredibly patient & professional Front Desk woman let the lady rant, rave & be incredibly rude and never lost her cool. Shes a better person than I. 2nd night went down to grab a box of Klennex and .. a different Front Desk woman...couldnt have been nicer. IF...the woman who told a tall tale about seeing bed bugs, and disrespected the Front Desk woman is reading this..."Bless yer Heart".

Excellent Mid-Range Holttel Clean, well maintained and EXCELLENT customer service! If you are looking for a great mid-range hotel this is the place for you. Delish breakfast, nice pool, easy access to surrounding areas. I would stay here again and definitely recommend to others.
