Will stay again My family and I stayed at the property as a mid point the ladies at the desk were extremely helpful and polite. The room was nice and relaxing ac worked great pool is closed but we were able to use next doors outside pool which was great thank you for a great stay

Disgusting room and disappointing, unaccountable management required escalation to corporate Marriott I selected this Fairfield Inn which had decent reviews for 3-night stay in October 2020 (in the midst of the Covid pandemic). We discovered the tv wasn’t working. I went to call the front desk, but the phone wasn’t plugged in and had stains/filth on it. I plugged it in and was told maintenance was gone (Friday afternoon) but would return Monday; the man at the front desk offered no other option. Before 6 pm (less than 2 hours after checking in) I informed the man at the front desk that I would be checking out in the morning; he again was apathetic and asked no questions or didn’t provide any other options. Later we also found mold on the shower curtain, hair/dirt on the bathroom floor, and to top it off, a used tissue in the bed when I pulled back the covers. At that point it was late, so I just slept on top of the sheets and tried not to think about it. I checked out in the morning, let the front desk lady know about the unsatisfactory state of our room, asked to be contacted by management, and I received a receipt for the 1-night stay. I booked a room at the Hampton in Smyrna and it was clean and delightful. I then received a 2-night charge on my credit card from the Fairfield Inn. After speaking with the manager Krystle Williams (who never followed up on my complaints), she told me it’s standard procedure that an additional night is charged if checking out early. I sent a copy of my receipt to her with the 1-night, and she basically accused me of lying after speaking with her staff and said the receipt I received was printed after the first night and wasn’t reflecting the full stay. At every turn, the blame was shifted to me despite the unsanitary room conditions and incorrect handling of my stay by her staff. I had to escalate this to corporate Marriott before a resolution was reached which I accepted because it wasn’t worth my time to fight for more. I’ve made subsequent trips to the area and all my stays at Hampton Inns and a Comfort Inn have been fantastic. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT STAY AT THIS FAIRFIELD INN.

Stay elsewhere! The hotel is run down and needs updating. The rooms are dark and the bathroom showers are gross and do not drain. We always pick Fairfield’s for the great breakfast and this location had nothing to serve. We left having to purchase waters from the market and with no coffee. The check in staff was wonderful, she tried to do everyone’s job that did not show up to work. Oh, and the elevator was not working. Only positive was the bed. With all the hotels at this exit I would stay elsewhere.

Disappointed This hotel is not on par with brand. They are missing basic amenities like shampoo, towels and body lotion. Although that does not make or break a stay, you would expect your TV remote and phone in the room to work, and your toilet to not run all night, and you would not normally question basic amenities like the availability of a pool and towels. Sheets were clean, staff was friendly. Really what a huge disappointment given a good brand. Would NOT recommend for the money, especially given the competition.

great stay We were traveling to visit family booked room last minute. The staff here are great very friendly and clean comfortable rooms. The breakfast was delicious we had 1 minor issue bu the manager Savannah took care of this immediately. we will be staying here out next trip.
