Good stay I guess my experience is much different than some others. We stayed 1 night. Front desk staff as well as other staff we encountered were super friendly. The shower door fell off the track but we fixed it. Our room was nice, not super big but comfortable. I do hate Hilton pillows though, but I got an extra one so it sorta worked out ok. The breakfast was the standard Hampton inn choices which work for us to get us moving to our next city. I agree that this place is a bit pricy. If I came this way again, I’d stay here.

Basic but fair deal for the money Clean, and nice pretty basic on the main road. The staff was nice and 1 or 2 seemed to be responsible for all the work, desk laundry breakfasts. The hotel was dated but for the money a good deal and very clean. Breakfast was basic. Water pressure was not great in the showers. We tried to book by phone and she asked us to book thru website

Not up to Hampton standards I've been a Hilton Honors member for almost 20 years, 5 of which I held Diamond status. Hampton Inns have always been my preferred property of choice due to value and consistently high standards. We stayed at the Murphy Hampton Inn on Saturday, 9/2. We got in after 8pm after a long day of travel. Our initial impression of the property was the welcome mat which was dirty and stained, with the interior mat in similar condition. A smell of mustiness and cigarettes filled the air. The young man at the service desk, while friendly, was dressed in a t-shirt, making us wonder if he even worked there or was just filling in. The only reason we met him was that we were directed to because the electronic key system wasn't working. He explained that they have been having unexplained problems with the system. We got to room 119 and first impressions continued. The carpet had clearly not been vacuumed any time recently or with thoroughness. In the bathroom, the toilet paper holder was missing (with a used roll sitting on the shelf), there were stains on the front of the sink cabinet, the wallpaper was peeling, and the exhaust fan didn't work. There were lots of scuff marks on the interior walls. The towels were old and worn, one of them was grey. Worst of all, however, was the air conditioning unit, which rattled and interrupted our sleep all night long. I want to compliment the breakfast hostess, who was friendly, professionally dressed, and kept up the dining area nicely that Sunday. morning. But we were shocked to look over at the front desk staff to see everyone dressed in wrinkly t-shirts, and some looking as if they had just rolled out of bed. I have never seen a less professional looking staff at ANY hotel I've ever stayed at before. I have attached some photos of the welcome mat, the dirty carpet, and the missing toilet paper holder and stained cabinet.

Last stay or us. This hotel is so run down. The rooms are drab and so outdated. The linens are very worn. With four people including two children, we needed our room cleaned. We stopped by the desk and requested it, but returned that evening to a messy room. Several times when we went to our car, we had to walk through cigarette smoke from employees smoking just outside the front door. Breakfast was the typical high sugar, high carb offerings. We will not stay here again even though it has been a regular stop for many years.

Cost exceeds value Grey towels/dirty looking. Zero Housekeeping for the week in room. Ice machine on floor doesn’t work. Staff parks in closest spaces - guests have to park out far. Breakfast ladies are very nice, food is lackluster at best. Cost exceeds value.
