Great hotel and AMAZING service! I travel for work. I do about 50+ stays a year. I am a Hilton person so I always pick the closest "Hilton" hotel to my sales call. Hence why I was at the Hampton Inn in Muscatine IA. E-checked in the day before, like always. Earlier in the day I stayed here, 2/22, I was checking into my next hotel and I noticed I had double booked a stay at this hotel. I was rather stunned. Seriously, I have booked hundreds of stays through the app and this was the first time I double booked. So, when I went into the hotel, I figured I would have to pay for the extra booked room. I met Delia who was manning the desk. I explained my situation, and she brought out her manager. I was stunned! She canceled the second room with no fees/charges. This alone, gives me loyalty to this hotel if I am back in the area and will recommend it to anyone and everyone (you too, who are reading this). Ok, so now that it was taken care of, I went to my room. It was very nice. Plenty of outlets, the pillows were still fluffy (this is always a sign a hotel cares about the guest), everything was clean and didn't feel dated at all. The bed was good, slept very well. Didn't have that sag in the middle that a lot of hotel beds have, which was wonderful. Now, I was stuck with the dilemma of food. Since I have never been to the area, I asked Delia, my Muscatine best friend, for opinions of where to eat. She took the time to ask what I liked, and gave some personal recommendations. I can't say enough about how nice she was! Friendly, happy, actually had a personality and let it shine through. I wish more people in hotels were like her and the manager (whom I didn't get her name). Slept well, went to breakfast the next morning and it was exactly what you would expect. The hot food was scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and potatoes with peppers/onions. Was it gourmet? No. Was it pretty good? Yes. No one stays at a Hampton Inn for the breakfast but the consistency was on point, they had chocolate chips for the waffles (wife wasn't with me so I could get away with acting like a kid) and the coffee was fresh and available. If you have made it this far, why? Ha! Seriously, though. If you need to stay in the Muscatine area, make the Hampton Inn your choice of hotel!!

Iowa stay The hotel was in good condition and the staff was very helpful and kind especially the breakfast hostess. The only downside to the stay at the time was the pool area was being renovated. A nice place to get a good nights rest on a long drive home.

Dated Rooms. Not a Hampton I’d come back to. Common areas looked up to date, and recently remodeled, but the rooms were at least a decade overdue for the same. Pool being closed, with no notice when booking on the Hilton app, was disapointing, too. Hampton is always my go-to, but not if I find myself back in Muscatine.

Family trip across the country After a long day of traveling this Hampton in was a great place to stop. The customer service was good and the breakfast was what one expect from a Hampton Inn. My only complaint, as a Hilton Honors Member I was not greeted the normal way I am at other Hilton properties. On the plus side, I do appreciate the Diamond Member Parking, I use that when I travel when available.

Great stay in Muscatine Clean hotel. No smells. No problem with elevator. No bugs. We are diamond members and stay at many hotels all across the us. I only pick 4.5 or higher locations. This one had me nervous with some of these reviews but gave it a try and we had no issues at all!
