Gorgeous, Historical and Welcoming Stay. A Must Stay! I do not have the words to explain how beautiful and interesting. Especially if you love history. I spent all day walking the property. It’s gorgeous! The entire staff was amazing! My husband and I got the chance to meet the owners. Extremely sweet couple. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful but dated surroundings. The food was excellent in both the restaurant and the breakfast venue. However, the rooms were very dated and not particularly clean. The Wi-Fi was strong but unsecure (no password needed). The staff was quite friendly and accommodating.

A lovely stay full of the southern hospitality you hear about! My husband and I stayed here for one night en route to New Orleans. We had a truly lovely stay. The room was so beautifully decorated and in keeping with the history of the property. We had drinks in the evening and breakfast the following morning, the service on both occasions was warm, friendly and efficient. The highlight of my stay was the super friendly person on reception (I'm so sorry I didn't take your name), on hearing our English accents he insisted on sharing some of his Yorkshire tea bags. My husband being from Yorkshire was particularly impressed! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Beautiful and Peaceful Stay! I booked a stay for my parents as a Christmas gift. They love Natchez but were unsure where to stay since there are so many options. I am so glad I ended up choosing Monmouth! They stayed in a beautiful room on the upper floor of the main house, with rocking chairs to sit and enjoy their coffee in. They loved the breakfast and the beautiful azalea bushes around the property. Booking was extremely easy and they said the staff was phenomenal. They are looking forward to visiting again!

Peaceful, clean, comfortable stay We had a very large and comfortable room with king bed. The bathroom was so nice. Spa tub was amazing. It was just like your own private hot tub. Closet was walk in with dresser. They had the best coffee. Traditional breakfast was good. I am not much on eating breakfast. It was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again. The only negative I have to offer is the carpet needed replacing. Grounds are beautiful. Very peaceful.
