La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Braunfels

Great place to stay . Friendly and easy front desk check in . The room was very clean with very nicely furnished . The hotel had a very nice and secure atmosphere. When we checked out there was a complete breakfast with cereals , milk ,coffee and fruit , yummy !!!!!!

La Quinta Walls are paper thin, bed was comfortable. Pricey for what it was. Good location. Wouldn’t recommend for that price.

2024 or 1964. This is painful to even recall. My wife and I choose La Quinta as we have found that the consistency of our experience remains all throughout the U.S. When choosing the New Braunfels location, I originally resisted due to my past experience (SA resident for 18 years, now relocated to Houston) in NB (racist behavior/rudeness) which is very uncommon for the SA area, but specific to NB. Upon arrival, we attempted to check in early (1130 hours) and was denied due to the claim of room availability. My wife inquired about possibly paying an upcharge and was flat out denied. We inquired about using the restroom facilities to refresh and was told that no bathroom facilities were available. My wife put on makeup in the car and we found a restroom nearby. I asked for some water for my dog and was allowed a small bowl of water. Upon our return several hours later, I was surprised to discover after getting my room (121), that there was a restroom right outside of our room...across from the gym. Unlocked, accessible and undeniable. Our room had issues, but none worse than the rude behavior from the Customer Service Representative. The CSR name was Carmen. An interesting night Upon arrival, the desk clerk was not friendly and seemed to be irritated. the room was hot, and the AC did not cool at any point during the night. The room was also very humid with a layer of moisture on the floor. The room phone did not work and to top it all off, we encountered bed bug bites. I have been a long-time customer of La Quinta and have historically had good experiences. Perhaps they need to review the managers capabilites and make a change if not corrected soon.

Good combo of location, quality, and price with good bed. This hotel is conveniently located just as you get to the town from Houston. Looks nice. Loved the mural behind my (VERY Comfortable) bed. Stayed one night & decided to stay a second one. Room was quiet, even though hotel had lots of families and some dogs staying there. Staff was fine. Good places to eat in same parking lot. Internet speed was good. I usually stay here when I come to New Braunfels.
