Very nice stay during a great trip... We were touring the New Iberia area and needed an overnight stay. The Quality Suites is a nice hotel at a good price with an excellent location just off the highway. All three of the front desk attendants, including manager Brandi, were great to work with. Check in was easy. Our rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is quiet. Breakfast was more than adequate. When we visit the area again we will stay again.

Staff good/place terrible Staff is friendly but the place is a rathole. Breakfast subpar, bathroom no fan, smell of mold, “homies” hanging out in the halls (felt unsafe for my kids). Lower price but probably not even worth that. Second worse place we ever stayed in (besides the Canton Tx Super 8)

Nice staff but we won't be back. The staff was friendly and willing to help, but...this property needs some attention. The breakfast was limited and disappointing. We had a handicap suite, but the bathtub had a high side to step over, with a narrow, extremely slippery bottom on which to stand. My mother slipped and got a huge bruise. However, the tub did have a handheld shower head, a nice seat, and plenty of hold bars--but too small and slippery. Towels were another issue. The front desk was always doing laundry and folding, but there didn't seem to be enough. They cleaned our room and took the dirty/wet towels and left us only one bath towel--nothing else. We went down to get more towels and all they had were wash cloths and hand towels; no other bath towels available.?? The hot tub looked full of dirty water, the pool is tiny with slippery stairs, and the handicap lift for the pool was rusted through and inoperable. Our king suite with a couch was good sized, and the refrigerator was handy. But, we won't be back.

Lets the Choice brand down. This is a poor example of the Choice brand of hotels. We have stayed in many over the last nine years and this was the worst of the Quality brand. When we checked in the room hadn’t been vacuumed, there was debris on the floor including a screw! The bathtub was patched and cracked, the toilet had an airlock and blew back every flush and the shower was very weak if you wanted hot water. On returning one afternoon we found the room had been entered and all the towels removed. We had to go and ask for fresh towels. Every afternoon the internet would go down and I had to go to reception and get it rebooted. The breakfast room was a joke! The toaster only had one functioning side and that only toasted one side of the bread. I reported this the first day but nothing changed during our 3 day stay. The cooked items ran out frequently and you had to ask reception to cook some more and wait whilst they did. The manager asked if you wanted hot food before cooking so she obviously only cooked what was needed at the time. There were no baked goods, only one waffle maker and no sugar free syrup. The hotel exterior and interior needs some TLC and really lets the Choice brand down. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were ok.

Believe the bad reviews The sheets were soft and the pillows were comfortable. That is the only nice thing I can say about this hotel. The key cards didn’t work and I had to go back to the ground floor and have it redone. The air conditioner was running when we entered the room while the temperature outside was in the 20s. The room didn’t warm up until the next morning. The next day, when we returned from lunch, again the key card didn’t work. The door to the room didn’t seal and you could see the hall lights top, bottom and sides. The television requires two remotes, one to turn it on and control the volume and the other to change channels. The on off remote didn’t work with that brand of television and had to be replaced. The toilet was difficult to flush and the lid wasn’t mounted properly. The faucet dripped all night long. There was only 6” between the bed and the air conditioner so getting in and out on that side wasn’t easy. We didn’t want to lose the non refundable money we already paid and knew we wouldn’t spend much time in the room so we stuck it out but never again.
