Charming place with excellent rooms and accommodating staff! We had the BEST time here... Esplanade street is on the quiet side of the French Quarter, and the rooms are great. Excellent value. The courtyard is nice and quiet as well. Loved having breakfast by the plants and fountain, then jumping in the pool after a morning run along the waterfront!

The Spirit of NOLA captured in one hotel. Inn on St Ann could not have been better for our couples getaway for the long weekend. Upon checking in the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and could not be more helpful. We had a room across the street near the little courtyard which had an authentic and beautiful feel. He made us feel absolutely welcome and the room was clean, and the king bed was massive and comfortable. No natural light in the room which was fine because who goes to New Orleans to hang out in their hotel anyway? The front desk staff couldn't have been kinder by holding onto our luggage before our late flight out. As well as us extending our checkout by a couple hours. We are a young couple and the location could not have been better -- 3 minute walk from Bourbon Street and 5-6 minutes from Jackson Square and literally hundreds to restaurants, stores, bars. Perfect distance if you need an afternoon siesta because it's far enough away from the chaos that you won't be affected. In a very inclusive and safe part of town, with a beautiful view of the lights of Louis Armstrong park a few yards away. The only uber we called the whole weekend was to the basketball game at Smoothie King arena. Close to a lovely little coffee shop as well.

Great location! We were in NOLA for a birthday party last week and stayed at the super convenient Inn on St. Anne. It was close walking distance to many of our favorite spots like the Clover Grill. There are two building at the Inn. The main one is where you check-in and across the street and down about 30 feet is the second house. The second house is the old Marie Laveau property. It is reported to be haunted. I didn't have any experiences. We stayed in room 50. Most of the rooms open onto a lovely little courtyard. We used this area as a catching up spot, and a waiting for the last person to be ready spot. The rooms are quaint and still very original. We had a fun sloping wood floor and an armoire for a closet. No other storage except a small nightstand drawer. But we were only there two nights. The one big adjustment was the bathroom. It is tiny. And definitely not conducive to two people at the same time! The hot water had to run in the tub and the sink together, for a solid five minutes, to produce any hot water, and the shower pressure was low and couldn't be run with the sink at the same time. But it is a classic and historic building, so that's what you should expect. The bed was super comfy and snuggly. We did run the window AC unit for the white noise the first night to drown out any noises from the courtyard and the second night because of the need for cool air. The noises are mostly people making their way back to their rooms and were usually quiet by midnight or so. It was not an issue for us. There are nice cold bottles of water you can grab for $1 by the front desk. They were very welcome each night we returned. The lady at the check-in was super casual. Two of our rooms weren't ready yet due to our early arrival and she said she'd let us know when they were ready. When we asked her how, and did she need a cell number, she said "nah, I'll send a smoke signal, you'll figure it out". She did eventually take a cell and called us to let us know they were ready when we were. It is a cute and quaint hotel with lots of history and charm. The location and price make if a great value.

Great location, second stay To be close enough to the madness and amazing food but have a place with character and in a quieter area this place is perfect. Service from the people is fantastic. We will return again to this property

Small room, not clean The location of this hotel is great but that is it. From the outside, it looks quaint and historic. The interior “lobby” however is drab. The floor was in constant need of sweeping. A call ahead of the trip to inquire about parking was met with derision and no helpful information. The room was tiny: nothing at all like the website photos. It was not clean. I am not one to be overly critical but this place fell well short of its presentation online.
