Hilton should be ashamed. A poorly run, poorly maintained hotel with a staff that has little regard for their customers. Our room was noisy - you could hear water running in the adjacent room. The cleaning staff apparently thought our "quiet please" door hanger was an invitation to bother us and they vacuumed the hall before 9 AM and repeatedly banged the vacuum into our door; they later did the same from the other side of the adjoining room door, and both times their staff talked so loudly that we could clearly hear them. Maintenance was awful - the door didn't fit well and let in light (see photo) and for some reason there was a thermostat mounting plate on the wall with no thermostat attached. And, there was only one trash can. An awful experience. If you need to stay in New Philadelphia, there are other options, and I can't see how they could be worse.

Poor Customer Service We did NOT check in due to the renovations taking place. We booked for use of the pool and hot tub but they were not available. The woman at the desk stated she would call to help me but ended up giving me a phone number to call. I noticed after the fact she charged me $50.00. I returned to the hotel and the woman stated it was from when I checked in. I again told her I NEVER checked in. She argued with me about it and then stated she had to check me in to check me out. This morning I received my "receipt" stating I checked in on one day and out the next day which never happened.

Average Hampton We were in town to visit with family, and had stayed here previously. While the location is good, and the hotel is visible from the road, it's very hard to find the exact entrance drive, especially when coming from the interstate. We appreciated the 10% off coupon for Texas Roadhouse, next door. The hotel is finishing up renovation, and inconvenience from that was minor. Breakfast room was reopened, with typical selections except for juice. One bonus item was fresh donuts! Son appreciated the well-equipped weight room. Overall, the room was clean and comfy. Everything was on the newer side, and worked well. It would be nice to have wider sheets on a queen bed, so both people can use them. Toilet had obviously not been cleaned. We reported that, and it was handled in a professional manner. Staff all were professional and cordial. Finally, I thought it was a bit pricey for a small town, and not yet peak season.

One of the worst Reserved king room with pull out sofa, was moved to double queen room. Upon check in the girl at the front desk didn’t even acknowledge I was there and it seemed inconvenient to her. Got to the room and turned on the TV-good luck with the remote. Start at 1500 and work your way back to find the channel you want-I never did. I was trying to switch from Marriott to Hilton and cannot wait until the new Townplace Suites opens across the street. Hilton’s suck
