This is not an hotel, it's an ant house!!! I reserved a double room 1 month in advance, arrived in the hotel they assigned me a room on first floor, when I opened the door I thought it was a mistake, instead it was reality! The room it's small, small and small. 2 people can't stay at the same time in the room, I put my luggage on the bed and the bathroom it's less bigger than a closet. This is the worst hotel experience in my life. My dog's bed is bigger than the room they gave me.....

Extremely unreliable and unhelpful 1st reservation: property cancelled on us, they said this was a “system error” but then did not attempt to make amends when we had to pay more to rebook the same room for the same dates due to their error. We also had to chase to get the original deposit back. We rebooked and repaid a new increased deposit for the exact same room and dates. Property then randomly told booking.com they could no longer accommodate us but did not let us know of this nor did they cancel our booking on booking.com. When we then tried to cancel the booking to get our deposit back as this hotel is extremely unreliable we were given an error message that we are unable to cancel with the hotel and have had to raise this to customer service. It seems this hotel is making extra money by cancelling bookings when the hotel is near full and increasing the prices of rooms to make you rebook. The staff we have spoken with online have been extremely rude about this and very unhelpful. Spend a small amount more and stay somewhere that is actually reliable! The last thing you want when travelling is a hotel that may or may not have a reservation for you!

Recommended for a nice city trip Very clean hotel, very close to the subway. Comfortable beds. Room was cleaned every day, also towels where changed daily. Hotel is in a calmer street. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate milk for free available. Recommended for a stress free citytrip in NY.

Get new mattresses First of all, you cannot beat the nightly rate for this well located Upper West Side hotel just two blocks from the restaurants and shops of Amsterdam avenue. I paid $150 per night including tax. Our room and the property was clean and while small, the room was well organized. The property is 4 star with one major exception - the bed was bad. The mattress was worn out and the only reason I had an average sleep was because I was very tired. Get new mattresses and the property is four stars. Sleep is important for a hotel….

Unhappy tourist Be careful if you book this hotel, seem to have a habit of cancelling the booking, then tries to up the price at a hefty increase, Got great price for holiday, then a couple of months later get email from booking. com to say the hotel has cancelled our booking
