Lame breakfast and overpriced for Comfort Inn Great friendly reception. Fresh hot cookies, coffee, tea and spa water at check in. $2 wash $2 dry laundry - one set of machines. Rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained. No pool. Breakfast was rough - coffee was out, toaster and waffle machine weren’t working due to a blown fuse, no one seemed to be attending breakfast. Next to nothing provided to eat. One bright spot - natural peanut butter for your untoasted white bread or English muffin. Yogurt, apples, sugar cereal.

Ruined our vacations. It ruined our vacations completely. The first day when we checked in, they gave us the keys but the room was not ready and had not been cleaned at all, so they gave us another room that was ok. The second day we requested housekeeping clean up because the room need it. When we came back at night, the room had not been cleaned. The third day we asked to please have the room cleaned, that it had not been cleaned the day prior even though we requested it, they apologized but that the housekeeping personnel was already gone for the day and stated that it would be cleaned the next day. Just in case, in the morning before we left, in addition, I spoke with the housekeeping ladies cleaning on the floor we were, that I had requested and clean up and if they could please make sure it gets done. When we came back at night, we come to find out that the room was not cleaned again. I had to go downstairs and ask for new sheets and new towels and told them that the room was not cleaned again, once again they apologized but again, that the housekeeping personnel was already gone for the day, and the gave us two sets of sheets for the two beds and towels. My wife and I ended up doing the housekeeping's job at 12 midnight, changing sheets, cleaning the whole room and changing the towels. When changing the sheets of one of the beds and I was opening the new set of sheets, we found a ball of pubic hair in between it. I almost vomited. I had to the them downstairs again and ask for another set of sheets, I told them what I found. Once again they apologized and gave me a new set of sheets. I am 100% disabled combat US Marine and one of the issues I have with my CI PTSD is that I am OCD with the cleanliness of where I sleep. Needles to say, all those night I could not sleep most of the night thinking of what else might be in the sheets. That night I decided to move to another hotel, but the next day was our last day and we had plans and finding another hotel would waist our time. We had no choice but to put up with it one more day. On that last day while eating breakfast at the hotel I happen to run into the Manager, I believe his name was Dave?? he is kind of new there. He had heard about my situation and I asked him if I could meet with him later when I come back to talk about it and he said that it would be fine that he would stay until about 7 pm. That day I called him about 5 PM to see if we could meet and he stated that "He was on a meeting with a personal old fried" and that he did not have the time to speak with customers, that his "personal friend was more important". I told him that it was my last day and that I could not speak with him the next day and then he got into a confrontational and stated that I was a liar and that he "saw on the video footage cameras and that he did not see anything wrong and that I was rude to the front desk personnel". NOT in one instance I was rude to anyone in the hotel and neither the personnel in the hotel were rude to me, with the exception of the manager who was very aggressive and totally disrespectful with me, my wife and my elementary school children. Luckily when I came back to the hotel and found him in the lobby by the front desk. At that point I confronted him with his front desk personnel and I asked the front desk personnel if I had at any point being rude to them, and they all stated to him and I was not rude to them on the contrary, they told him that I was a "nice guy" all along. I must say that the only good things was that the two people we dealt with at the front desk were really nice and cordial. He did not know what to say and all he said with a lot of pride in his voice and body language that he would give me a refund. The next day we left the hotel early just to come to find out that the hotel, instead of giving us a refund, they charged us twice instead. We verified this as well by talking to the bank, they confirmed the charges. I has been 5 days now that we have been calling this hotel so they can reverse the charges and refund it. They say they will, but it has not happened as of yet. Never again!

website doesn't tell the truth. The web site stated zero walking to beach and it was NOT! there are stairs and a lot of them, also vending machines only mean soda! I would NOT have stayed there if I knew it was that far to walk to the beach... about one block to stairs and down 6 flights and yes you have to walk back up them too! check in time is later then most places too! went, stayed and won't be back! Don't like story tellers.

If you are NOT a smoker, DO NOT STAY HERE! We received an 'unwelcome' welcome. As soon as we walked in the place, entire hotel, smelled of cigarettes. It's been SO LONG since I've stayed in any hotel that allowed smoking I almost forgot how it made me feel sick! AWFUL STAY!!! If you're a smoker, you'd probably enjoy it. I HATED THE NIGHT. Glad it was only for one night!!!
