Not happy staying next to noisy crackheads This place is like a crackhouse... Doors not secure doors and loud music and smoking through the floor. Talked to manager and was told to find another place to stay if not happy here... Went out a secured door and other occupants put stone to keep door from closing. I notified receptionist and she stated don't worry about it because that's what smokers do for convenience.

Decent for Choice Hotel Note: for chain hotels, I rate 4 when it's up to chain standards, 5 is for those that are above. Here we have a Comfort Inn that's up to Choice Hotels standards--but in some ways better, other ways less so. This comfort Inn is located behind a Super J fuel station with attached Denny's Restaurant--which may be a convenience, Unlike many Comforts, it's only 2 floors and has no elevator. Happily, we were able to get a first-floor room, as our elderly knees and hips do poorly on a stairwell. The room was more spacious than the typical Comfort Inn. It was a twin queen room, which also had a full sofa, a desk, and the usual unit with mini-fridge, microwave, drawers, and TV. Wi-fi was robust. There were two downsides in my opinion. The room is arranged with the sink in the bedroom area, not in the bathroom--so if you wake earlier than your partner as I do, getting ready in the morning means not shaving before the shower. Why designers think that is a good idea, I'll never ffigure out. The customery free breakfast had the usual items (except no make-your-own waffles?) but when I got to breakfast--admittedly early--the eggs and sausages were cold. So points added for room size, friendly staff, location, sleep quality--points off for poor bath design and cold breakfast. Averages out to a decent Choice for an overnight on your way.

Awful hotel This had to be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I got stuck in traffic and had to stop for the night as I was too tired to keep driving. I knew the room wasn’t great, but in the morning I was shocked at just how disgusting it was. The floors were sticky, hair in the shower, sink didn’t drain, nasty stain on the bedding, big stain on the rug and let’s not forget the bullet hole in the window. Completely unacceptable on so many levels.

Comfortable and clean Needed one night stay in this area and found Comfort Inn. Had a King suite and the room was excellent size, was clean and had fridge, microwave, flat screen, coffee maker and supplies. Could not ask for more. The young woman at the check in desk was hospitable and professional. The room was a bit dated, especially the bathroom, but for the price there are no complaints. They had coffee and tea avail all day along with indoor pool and small gym on the first floor. Bonus for me was it is next door to Denny's that was open 24 hours. All in all a good stay, comfortable and quiet and in a good location for my trip. One tip is that if you are using car navigation system it brings you to road with NO entrance to the hotel. You need to go through the gas station and past Denny's through their parking lot to access the hotel. I followed my navigation and ended up on the dead end and blowing out my tire (shredded) - but that's a story for another time!
