Awesome Rooms Our only hick up at this hotel was when we went to check in the clerk said she didn’t have a reservation for us_. However, she found that we had already been checked in but it was a few tense minutes because we knew other hotels in the area were booked. Problem resolved_. The clerk was very friendly and apologetic. Now to the 100% positives! The room was LARGE with 2 separate bedrooms, wet bar area, nice sized bathroom, good water pressure, very quiet and peaceful. The beds were so comfortable and plush. There is a pool but we didn’t have time to go as we got in very late. Give this hotel a try if you are in the area!

Call Before You Book! This hotel is under construction. Lots of things going on, and the staff tries to be accommodating, but some things are beyond their control. I would definitely wait to stay here until they have all the bugs worked out. We arrived to find the front parking lot and entrance torn up. Some rooms are remodeled (nicely), but some are awaiting undelivered furniture items to complete them. Unfortunately, they are renting out the rooms that still need a few items and charging full room rate. You would expect with all the inconvenience, noise in the morning, etc., that the rates would be reduced during this period of construction. The hotel itself has easy access from I-80, is near numerous restaurants, gas station, etc., and will eventually be a nice place to stay. You may get one of the older rooms now, or one of the remodeled ones, since they started remodeling from the 4th floor down. They do not have a business center and have a small fitness room. Coffee in the lobby is removed after 10 pm (boo!), and eventually the entire breakfast area will be under construction, so you will get "to go" breakfast bags. Again, unless you want to put up with the inconveniences, you may want to find another hotel and plan on this one later, once they are in full business. I give them a "C" rating now, with a commendation to the staff for trying to be as helpful as possible. The construction is scheduled for completion in November, but I would recommend calling before making any commitment to stay there.

Just so so Construction was affecting the front so entrance was made in though the back, making it hard to get luggage theough. We loved having the cut corn field as our view, especially when the sun hit it. The room was dirty. I don’t think they had vacuumed in a while by the fingers nails on the floor.

Nice, clean hotel in North Platte, NE This was a nice hotel with clean, newly refurbished rooms. The beds were very comfortable. Free breakfast and parking on site. Very friendly and helpful staff. We would stay here again if we had to. If at all possible, book your room on the quieter side of the hotel. Noisy on the street side.

Pet fees, front desk staff The hotel is fine. In need of updating (which they are doing), but generally clean and quiet. Along with most, if not all, Hamptons, this hotel is dog friendly. As I always do with any Hilton hotel, I booked on the Hilton App with the "honors discount rate" which I assume is the best available. When I arrived at the hotel, I was quoted and additional $60/night fee for my dog. This is no where disclosed on the app or even after checking in for two adults and one dog on the app (to be fair it IS on the individual hotel's website). After stopping at the desk to get a key, I was informed of the charged and told that since I had check in on the app and it was within 24 hours, I couldn't cancel the reservation. My total bill for one night in a room with a $160 base rate was $285! The hotel seems to thrive on the "gotcha" aspect of charging the pet fees. The construction workers in the hotel were nice and friendly and the construction was unobstrusive. Not once did the front desk staff smile, say hi, or otherwise acknowlege me or any other guests while I was there. The hotel is fine, but I will be staying elsewhere in North Platte from now on and forgoing the Honors points. Perhaps the front desk people might even smile at their guests once in awhile.
