Good place for a group stay We had a family reunion of sorts, and we all stayed together here. The room was very clean. We happened to have had an issue with our room, and when we brought it to the attention of the management, the hotel went above and beyond to make it right with us. Thank you Clarion Northampton!

Family FYI- This hotel closed earlier this year. I just assumed that it was for renovations. Then the hotel was demolished in September 2016. We had hoped to stay here as the kids love(d) the pool. Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Tripadvisor please update.

satff was nice, but everything else has serious room for improvement ... where to begin ... first, the whole place stank like someones moldy basement and is laid out like someone gave a toddler a box of legos and said "here, design a hotel". The rooms on the upper floor had water damage dripping down the ceilings and walls, and the rooms on the first floor had dehumidifiers as standard equipment to fight a loosing battle. Those with allergies should stay away. The rooms were acceptably equipped, if you could look past the stains and water damage. bed was acceptable, and sheets/towels were clean, but tub wouldn't drain and sink splashed your lap whenever you turned it on. The pools were both nice, the indoor one was lovely (if a bit warm), and the outdoor one was fine too. The water seemed clear and clean. Housekeeping, bar staff, and half the front desk folks were very nice, while the other half of the front desk staff and management was either stoned or woefully inept. Communication between management and staff is non-existent, so if you're planning an event, stay far, far away. The "restaurant" is never open, and the "kitchen" is only open on tuesdays and fridays for the bar. the rest of the time the bar has a very short microwave menu that they couldn't offer half of the items because they were locked in the freezer and no one has keys. oh, but there's menus at the front desk for delivery ... o.O Ultimately it seems like the staff is doing damn fine work with what little they've got to work with, but management/owners are not holding up their end or providing the support that's needed to bring the structure back from the brink of "dank and skeezy"

Just really odd This hotel is oddly designed, dark and in disrepair. Although our room appeared clean, the entire hotel as a whole was dingy. One of the doors to the outside near the bar didn't even close. It did not feel safe or secure. There are hotels in far better condition further down the road near the whole foods market. If you are going to have to drive to downtown anyway they are much better accommodations that are not creepy. I don't know how this place stays in business with the other options close by. I would not ever choose this hotel again for a trip to Northampton.
