Just OK stay in northern part of Norwalk As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I like to stay at different properties across the Hilton portfolio when I travel to various places. Most of my travel is by train wherever possible. This place looked to be near the Merritt/7 Metro North station (with a healthy walk in between) so I decided to try it. When I detrained at Merritt/7 I walked out to Main Avenue, and walked about 20 minutes to the hotel. Upon arrival I noticed that one of the exit doors on one end of the building was open; normally these are for exit only or for those with plastic or Digital keys to enter. Already I had a false sense of security. Since I had checked-in via the Hilton app and chosen my room, I went right to it and entered with the Digital Key. No need to stop at the desk, The hotel appeared to be a bit worn, in need of attention. The elevator apparatus was noisy. Room was ample size, with enough space for my belongings. Bathroom was a bit on the small side. WiFi and TV worked OK. Room temperature was difficult to control. There are diverse places to eat in the area within walking distance.

Cannot Recommend I couldn’t sleep properly. Tapping noises from floor above and audible urination from adjacent toilet. Various buzzing sounds from somewhere were disturbing. The room temperature was very cold and the heater was not effective. The thin blanket on the bed was not warm enough. This hotel needs renovation.

Bad food ruined this trip. Went to visit family in Connecticut and stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Norwalk. The stay was going very well until I decided on our last day to have breakfast. I waited till after 9am to eat. It turned out to be the worst breakfast I’d ever had at any hotel. The dining area was empty but most of the tables were dirty and there was food under a lot of the tables. I ordered an omelette with potatoes and toast. The toast was burnt on one side, the potatoes looked very old and mushy. They had a strange sour taste. The omelette looked like it was cooked in old grease. I had to drench it in hot sauce to make eatable. I don’t think we will be staying there again.

Stay at other brands in Fairfield county ! TV has limited channels , often froze up , streaming didn’t work TV wasn’t connected to internet. Furniture was clearly same furniture that was installed when hotel was built place is in need of a major renovations, like all Hilton brands in the Fairfield CT area . Stay at other hotels avoid Hilton brands in Fairfield

Poor communication and attitudes. Unfortunate experience here. I will admit the check in line was long, but when we were checked in finally, there was very little information communicated. We were rushed through the line and not told about the breakfast buffet NOT being included. I requested a room next to my sister for a wedding we were attending and her room was not ready. They move her to another floor and on the entire opposite side of the hotel. I was not that bothered until we tried to talk with the women at the front desk at checkout and they were very hostile and quite literally just rude. Very poor customer service and disappointed. Did not even apologize for their lack of communication just placed all the blame on us. The room was nice, but the employees at the desk ruined the experience.
