Just lovely! I booked a one night stay for my husband and myself as a little mid-January treat after a busy Christmas and New Year. We had never been to Nunsmere Hall before but will definitely be back! What a fabulous place! The woodland setting and the building itself are magnificent and our Junior Suite (an upgrade on what we had booked - thank you) was huge, warm and very comfortable. The rate we paid for B & B was very reasonable, the staff, particularly Alice on Reception, could not have been more friendly or welcoming and breakfast was lovely. With so much to do in the immediate area, including Delamere Forest, there are many reasons to return and we hope to stay longer next time!

Last minute booking due to icy weather, well worth the money. Stayed for 2 nights, had a lovely big room and very comfortable beds. We had also booked breakfast and we were glad it wasn't self service. It was all very good value for money. Will be back again.

Breakfast disappointing Lovely place , very classy - huge bedrooms and nice temperature of room. Disappointed in the breakfast food being cold and on a cold plate. Would have liked the fruit juice to be help yourself too. Only other niggle is 10% service charge when staff are bery businesslike with no warmth to guests. Very polite but not many smiles or chat. Did enjoy our stay overall but feedback given to help improve

Disappointed Really looked forward to our stay and mostly all fine. We for, some reason, were really looking forward to breakfast (probably because we live on toast and tea). Unfortunately this is where our disappointment came. We ordered a full English. For the amount of time it came to arrive we would have expected a hot fresh breakfast. The plate was cold, as was all of the food. What a shame for such a simple thing to spoil our stay.

Afternoon tea Afternoon champagne tea on 18 December 2025. Food, drink and service impeccable. Staff are a delight, nothing too much trouble for them. This was our sixth visit to Nunsmere and I can confirm the standard never dips.
