Economy, location for business and travel, reasonable quality A recently refurbished property. Located next to a Country Western Bar, a Denny’s and convenient to interstate on ramp. My work took me to a railroad yard nearby. Room was good and presented well when I opened the door. Front desk help was exemplary. Check in reasonable and my on line request for a 1st floor room honored. On my second night my plans changed and I expected to stay a third night. Late the next morning my plans changed again and I had to depart. The front desk clerk refunded my 3rd night and seemed to have that authority without seeking management approval. (That’s a good thing!) Motel 6 is an anomaly of sorts, sometimes worn and weary and other times like this, spot on with facilities and service. This Motel 6 for service, price and room deserves your attention among other economy properties available in Ogden.

I would not stay here again! The wall and floor were dirty, the sink had leavings from previous guests, there were hairs on the counter, the door barely latched, the walls were extremely thin. It looked like it was an older motel with a recent “remodel” which was just new flooring and a coat of paint. The door barely latched and required excessive force to close. The parking lot was full of potholes. I was rather worried about my car and belongings in the parking lot overnight. The tv was about the only thing that worked and was decent. I decided not even to take a shower because it felt so dirty.

Filthy Dump Reservation for a smoking room. Second floor. It stank like hell as if it never been aired the last weeks/months. The room itself was filthy and dirty as well as the carpet with dirt stains, which has never seen a vacuum cleaner. The shower was not clean at all and had the oldest outdated style we ever saw in many of our vactions in the US of A! The TV didn't work after the first attempt. The culmination was the seat of the only chair in the room which had holes at two sides and stains of unknown origin which seems someone had defecated on this chair (see the proof photo). Really disgusting! No one from the motel staff obviously has never tried to remove this chair! The balcony at the second floor wasn't clean at all. Everywhere cigarette butts, used paper towels and other dirt. We made a complaint at the lobby, told about our bad experience and wanted another room. The guy at the lobby seems to be from India or Bangladesh and it lasted a long time after he understood our complaint. When he answered we couldn't understand him first because he mumbled very strong and spoke a very bad english. Finally after a while he understood and gave us another non-smoking room, which had more or less almost the same condition as our first (booked) room. Luckily we had only a one-night stay! The vicinity of this Motel 6 was strange and filthy even as the motel itself. Strange People wandered around and someone who is a little fearful (not us) should avoid this motel at all circumstances! Best is - close this motel at this location forever. You can't expect this hellhole at any customers. Its a miracle that some customers gave this dump more than 1 point. After some experiences with Motel 6 this vacation and several years ago we will never ever book at a Motel 6 again!

You get what you pay for This place could be so much more they are in the process of updating which is nice but there are some things that need attention 1st the base boards in the rooms need to be cleaned The freezer in room had black hair froze in it they need to be cleaned and defrosted when the rooms are cleaned The hallways need a good power washing and the trash cans need to be emptied out of the hallways they need a designated smoking area besides outside of peoples rooms preferably across the way by the pool that isn’t opened this is a lower end hotel which I get but it does attract some shady characters you hear loud talking outside at all hours of the night people coming and going at all hours which is to be expected but some of them look sketchy so just be aware of your surroundings when coming and going I may add the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful

The Worst Motel 6 in the Nation Disaster ! This property will give Motel 6 a bad name and should be dropped from their list of approved locations. Dirty inside and out. Door needed a shoulder to help open. Back parking lot had several “characters “ hanging around. Swimming pool covered up in non professional manner. Tile and wall board repair half done. Beware it’s Scary. You can do much better for $84/night. They don’t even give you a table lamp by the bed ! Yikes !
