Beautiful in all ways Charming Spanish hacienda style building, inside and out. Interesting furniture and decor, every room is unique, most with private patios. The art, stained glass works, antique furnishings make the place infinitely interesting. Do be sure to visit the common area space for happy hour or breakfast, and admire the colorful Spanish tile. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We slept well. We've stayed several times. Hot tub and swimming pool with changing room is private. A stucco wall, also decorated, provides wind protection and privacy. Nicely maintained plantings. Their website reservation system needed some improvement, but be persistent -- it's worth it. We loved the personal caring attention we received from staff. This is not a large place, and that is a plus.

Poor I stayed here with my husband while he ran the Ventura marathon in February. The positives were the location, the bathtub, Netflix, and the pretty stained glass window in the room. Unfortunately, there was no one at the front desk when we arrived and there were a line of people waiting to check in, a note was left at the desk they went to the store and would be back. We decided to leave and go out, when we returned to check in, someone was there but they still made us wait about five minutes while they did some things in another room before being helped. The walls are very thin and the beds are not that comfortable. We did not sleep well. When we went to checkout there was still no one at the front desk but a note to call for assistance, no one answered or called back hours later. I would not recommend this place due to the customer service and comfort.

Incompetent and Unprofessional Avoid this place. They are highly unprofessional and incompetent. I had gone in person on Wednesday to reserve a room for the coming Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights. I left a debit card number to reserve the room. They leave me a voicemail Saturday morning (the day I’m supposed to check in) telling me they canceled my reservation because they over booked. I had made many plans in Ojai because I had that room reserved. Their incompetence has caused a lot of trouble for me because they canceled last minute the day I am supposed to check in. There are many better options for you nearby. Avoid the stress that this place causes.

Don't waste your money here. 1. Hotel was terrible. The room was deemed a suite but it was a cramped regular room with no closet and looked like it had been assembled at a flea market. The shower curtain leaked. Faucet was barely functional and the sink clogged. Room was noisy. Good location but the pool was tiny and had shabby and dirty surroundings.

Romantic stay even though the power went out in town. Loved the antiques and the fireplace. Shower was great and towels. All the stained glass windows around the property were cool as was the view from upstairs. Nice pool and hot tub. Breakfast had some fresh fruit. Great location to walk to town or jump on the bike/walking path.
