Amazing Staff!! Hairy Fairy Visit at Hampton Inn We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn East Lansing/Okemos, and let me just say… I have NEVER seen hotel staff have as much fun as they did with my poor brother, Mitch. After losing a bet, Mitch had to spend the entire day dressed in the most spectacularly humiliating outfit imaginable: a pink fairy tutu, feather boa, tights with ruffled bottoms, and ballet slippers! Mitch had to check out in this unforgettable ensemble, and the staff went all in on making sure he got the full "fairy princess treatment." From the moment he walked out of the room, they were relentless (in the BEST way). They coaxed him into doing twirls in the lobby, struck ballet poses by the front desk, and even had him wave to passing traffic like some sort of tutu-clad celebrity. They captured the whole thing on camera, laughing and cheering him on the entire time. I have to give a massive shoutout to the team here for being such great sports and for really adding to the complete and utter humiliation that Mitch was feeling. He was a good sport, but let’s be real—if you were a grown man forced to wave to strangers outside the Hampton Inn in a fluffy pink tutu, you’d probably wish the ground would swallow you up too. _ For anyone reading this who needs an extra layer of entertainment with their stay or has a sibling who needs to be publicly shamed, look no further. I’d come back here any day—as long as Mitch’s dignity is on the line again! Thanks, Hampton Inn, for making this the most memorable (and mortifying) hotel experience ever!

Clean, convenient & great staff (Victoria)! Very impressed. This very conveniently located Hampton has quickly become a fave! While waiting for our room we walked over for lunch to Luckys steakhouse. Perfect. We usually get our digital key well before 3 but enjoyed our lunch & decided to check at desk. VICTORIA was FANTASTIC!!! SMILING & offering us the exact room a floor down as our pick was not ready. We have not had breakfast yet but I expect Hampton breakfast and will update if needed. This hotel is always sold out & I now know why! Must be a college town? Lol Be assured this is a top notch Hampton! Ps..lobby construction ongoing..was not a big deal to use side lobby .signs well placed Be back soon

no warning hotel under renovation; changed facilities from past; rude staff the staff was rude and told us we should go to another hotel when we politely tried to tell them we were disappointed we had not been warned the hotel was torn up. We have stayed in that hotel at least once a year for 9 years and sent many other people there. Apparently they had some type of water main issue in winer (It is not september) we made our reseervations months ago for a full football weekend at premium prices. no lobby for friends to gather; indequate breakfast room; empty coffee pots, wlevator with a worn out sign syging "closed for scheduled maintenance (really on a football weekend?). no supplies available for purchse for laundry; fire alarm inwee hours of morning and no staff or responsible person telling us it was ok to go back inside. I could go on but wont. Losing faith in the Hampton brand in college towns. had a horrible experience in South Bend last year but chocked it up as a fluke. I used to feel comfortable booking a hampton inn without reading reviews. no more.

Pleasant surprise! We had a positive experience all around! From great customer service at the desk to coffee in the lobby (which was good) when we arrived. Rooms were clean, shower curtain too!!! Had a fridge and microwave which we loved! Great great value! Breakfast had something for everyone and the staff were super nice! Everyone was just so kind and helpful. Would definitely come back!

Best Hotel option in East Lansing/Okemos! The staff of this hotel are amazing! The entire time we were there, we were made to feel welcome and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The hotel is very clean, even though its under construction in some areas. During our stay, completely booked but the staff was always smiling and giving full attention to every guest. I have been a Diamond Member of Hilton for several years and have seen many hotels. While this hotel is not the flashiest, it's definitely in my top 5 due to our experience. We will be back!
