Over priced, unwelcoming, run down Very unwelcoming, from the very start of walking into the hotel. No one behind desk. Had to wait on someone to arrive. Then had to look through a tiny square hole to talk to attendant. Plexiglass was littered with how much they weren’t doing for anyone, breakfast, cleaning, renting to locals etc…Then they have ridiculous sign in procedure with so many things to initial and sign felt like I was buying a house. Walking into the room, the entry light didn’t work, had to walk through room looking for light switch in the dark. Bed was slanted down on headboard side and very worn. Headboard was falling apart. The plug and USB charger on side of bed was broken and taped to night stand. Bathroom was so small it was unbelievable. The wall was falling apart in the bathroom. Paint overspray on ceiling line. And worst of all, no ac controls. So, I slept in a very hot room. For over $100 for 6 hours of sleep and 10 hours of occupancy…. No thanks. Never again and highly suggest you book elsewhere.

Henry the clerk boy Dan Rudder Local Guide·10 reviews Vacation | Family Check in staff was great, on our last day we decided to stay another night, but desk clerk HENRY first claimed he didn't have change for cash (and only owed us $2), wouldn't let us get the change later and refused to run the credit card we used the two previous nights. When we asked to speak to a manager to see what could be done, he banned us from the property and called police, which we waited for next door. We explained our circumstances to Sheriff Officer Alltop from Unit 25 and are filing this and every other complaint possible. I will be contacting a lawyer through my union when I return to Michigan. We are going to fight for a compensatory resolution. We were humiliated, unfairly banned, denied service, ruined our Memorial Day weekend and Anniversary, and Connie's gift broke when we rushed because we only had 10 minutes to leave and her Netflix info is still on the TV. Connie retired as Gen. Manager for the W.V. unemployment office and said she had (and I agree) had never experienced anyone so rude that's actually getting paid to do a job. Whatever this kid's problem is, he should not be in the line of work he's in.

Desk clerk Henry and his unprofessional attitude! The Manager and the Girl clerk were very nice and knowledgeable but desk clerk Henry was rude, unwilling to take cash saying he didnt have the correct change and when we told him we would just get the change later, he refused. We also tried to use a credit card he wouldn't take it either! We wanted to extend our stay due to a power outage at home and I asked for Managers number to clear this up and he refused to give it to me and said we were banned from the property and had 10 minutes to get out!! I broke my very expensive present, trying to carry too much out as we were there celebrating our anniversary. I did not have time to take Netflix off the TV either! I have NEVER been treated so terrible at any business establishment! Desk clerk Henry is incompetent, rude, and in desperate need of customer service! He also called the police and I guess he assumed we wouldn't wait in the parking lot next door as we did nothing but try to stay another night, we waited! We told to police everything as I was already filing a complaint and on the phone with Choice hotels! The police officer was very understanding of our situation....We are exploring all our options for a resolution!

Never again The his was a horrible experience. The refrigerator in the room was broken, had mold in it and it stunk terribly. The toilet squelched every time I was flushed and the sink leaked around the faucet. The manager never even acknowledged the problems in the room

Not clean! The Good: The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The lobby and pool area was clean, the pool was a nice temp. The Bad: We got to the room and the door wasn't all the way shut. Walked in, it looked like someone had been on one of the beds after it had been made. It was wrinkled and not neat like the other. Went to tinkle and when I shut the bathroom door, there was an orange shirt hanging on the back of the door. Then when I went to get some toilet paper, the roll had what appeared to be blood all down the side of it! They were good enough to offer to move us to another room but this shows how poor the housekeeping is. With Corona and everything, I'd expect better cleaning!
