Eclipse stay! We made our reservation several months ago for an overnight stay the night before the eclipse. It was an excellent choice, appeared to be remodeled recently and the rooms were very nice. There’s a small bar open in the evening and a nice breakfast area. On this particular morning there were many guests as the hotel was full due to the eclipse and even though they ran out of items they refilled them as fast as they could. The bathroom and shower were especially nice and the bed was really comfy. The employees, from the desk (Adrian) to the housekeeping staff were very nice. The location was perfect, the restaurant at the neighboring Holiday Inn was walking distance and so many great stores for shopping were nearby. We absolutely would not hesitate to stay here again.

Remodeling has improved this place I had stayed there several years ago when they were remodeling. That appears to have paid off. The room was updated, the halls were clean and the breakfast had been improved with hot dishes. The price was good as well. I'll stay here again when I visit the area next year.

Price, location and amenities galore! Newly updated flooring and cosmetics around the hotel. Double beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, bread, bagels, muffins, coffee, tea, juice, yogurt and fruit. Pool was spacious. Fitness center was adequate with two ellipticals, a treadmill, an air dyne bike, and weights up to 50lbs with an adjustable bench. It’s really hard to compete with the price, location, and amenities. Would definitely recommend and would consider staying again if in the area!

A Disappointing Experience As soon as we pulled into the parking lot and stepped into the hotel, I should have realized something was off. Despite the glowing reviews, the carpeting was disgustingly filthy. The flickering lights on our way to the room only added to the horror movie-like atmosphere. Still, I reassured my son that it would be fine for a one-night stay. However, once inside the room, it became clear that it was small, cramped, and the bedspread was dirty. I quickly told my son to keep his shoes on while I rushed to the bathroom. To my dismay, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Feeling utterly disappointed, I made my way to the check-in counter to inform them that we would not be staying at the hotel. The only silver lining was the friendly gentleman who checked us in and out, understanding our decision to leave. Later, I received call with an apology from the manager who explained that they were currently renovating and acknowledged the poor condition of the rooms. This is one hotel we will not be giving a second chance too.

Filthy rooms They only get 2 stars because the front desk guy was friendly, it’s not his fault he works in a dump. It’s not his fault they are renovating. No, the low rating is 100% on housekeeping. That room was filthy. We stayed 2 nights and I didn’t take a shower the first night but when I did the next morning I noticed all the long hair everywhere in the shower. Now I wonder if the sheets from the last guest were ever changed or if the bed was just made. Makes me sick to think about it. There were pretzels on the floor, dust everywhere, it was just a mess. They never cleaned our room while we were there either, As a side note, if you are only going to serve breakfast from 6am to 9am, maybe you could change the hotel info book in the room that says it goes until 10. Just saying… we won’t be back.
