Knights Inn Peru

Horror movie set in real life! Would not honor reserved price. Wanted street rate PLUS 10%. :-o Driving up, the first thing I notice is the mattress airing outside a room. The motel only had 30 or so rooms, all driveup first floor. Dimly lit, 1960's circus-esque facade. The setup gave a "low budget horror film back alley motel" looking vibe. There was junk outside the right side of the motel blocking half the rooms. Went inside, cause I'm tired, and the reserved price was cheap -$46. Ringing the plastic door bell, I The manager guy with the bad comb over emerges from where ever to converse behind the pseudo-security plexiglass. I pay attention as he writes 70 and not 46. I call him on this and tell him this isn't the booked rate. Then SHOW him the confirmation with rate and rate posted on the website. He knocks the price down to full street rate, as if that is a bargain. I tell him keep it. The best Western across the street is just a few bucks more and offers free breakfast!

Not horrible but not good This was a VERY basic motel room. No news channels on the TV. No coffeemaker but it was available in the office. Room had a fridge and microwave. Bed and pillows just okay but there was a lightweight cover on top of the bed making it difficult to tell if it was clean. No amenities except miniature bars of soap. Shower had good water pressure but smelled odd. The restaurant in the parking lot was decent; didn't eat dinner there but breakfast was okay and reasonably priced with good service.

BED BUGS BED BUGS) Do not stay at this place(BED BUGS).I never write reviews. I have to help others not experience this awful place. It took me five days to realize that this place was infested with bedbugs. On the fifth day I finally actually saw two bedbugs. Every morning I would wake up with bites. Blistering bites. I had been fighting this sneaky pest all week. They know they have a problem. They saw it with their own eyes when I asked the front desk to come look in my room to see it for themselves. They saw it, and still denied my refund. I wanted to leave as soon as possible. I did not ask for my week stay to be refunded. I just wanted that one night of the discovery of the bedbugs honorably refunded and I would be on my way. I was shocked that the manager was was so stern and was in such denial when I had proof. Horrible customer service. Most importantly they have a BED BUG infestation. If I had a choice I would give them zero stars but it’s making me do at least one.

Great place! My room was clean the staff was awesome and they accommodate for semi parking. They even accepted our request to be put in a room around the back more private. We requested more towels and they got to us quickly. We stay here often.

Horrible Just over all horrible customer service skills , the guy was very rude and short with me every time I would ask a question or even when I checked in, my email says I paid online the manager wanted to argue with me about it , I stayed for two nights and they charged me two separate rates, they came to my room an hour before check out and told me I needed to leave ( when they could clearly say I was getting ready to leave I had a one year old by myself ) when I finally checked out they called me multiple times when I finally answered the unknown number it was the hotel telling me I stole one of their pillows and for me to bring it back, when I told them I brought my own pillow and covers he continued to tell me he was gonna have to do something . Also there was only one employee there my entire stay that spoke English.
