Lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bath suite My husband and I were traveling with our son and daughter-in-law, and only stayed one night. I booked a 2 bedroom suite even though it was more expensive than my usual hotel room. We were so pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was and the amenities it included. In addition to the 2 bedrooms, it had a sitting room with a sleeper sofa, 2 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, and 2 small balconies. The larger bedroom had an ensuite bathroom which included a large jet tub and a huge shower with 6 showerheads. The bath was 12' x 12'. It even had a bidet. Everything was very clean. Each of the 3 rooms had a large TV. We were happy to find that the indoor pool and hot tub were open until 11pm, as we didn't arrive until 9. There was even a sauna, which we didn't try. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and included hot foods like scrambled eggs, sausage (pork and turkey), biscuits and gravy, pancakes. This hotel seems quite new and is well located. I would definitely stay there again.

Stay here! What a nice surprise! IHG is our go-to brand. It's our first choice for every trip, whether it is work or fun, and experiences like this are exactly the reason why. Our one-night stay at this property has really impressed us. We were upgraded to a valley-view suite, on the top floor, and it was a lovely room. There was a full-sized fridge, microwave, and a fire place in the living room. The weather turned on us and it was snowing when we got up in the morning, and the view of the valley from the balcony was just beautiful. The room was clean. Y'all, that's huge! That's not always the case, and we really appreciate the effort the staff makes. The breakfast staff were great as well. Overall, it was just a great stay. Bravo!

Don’t Stay Here! We checked in for one night on Oct. 8. The room was not as expected for this price hotel. The carpet was filthy, it had obviously never been cleaned as there were stains all over it. When leaving the hotel the next day my husband and I got stuck in one of their two elevators(the one closest to the front desk). The elevator would not open. We pressed all the buttons including the “Help” intercom several times but no response. We proceeded to press the alarm and bang on the door with no response. It was warm in the elevator and although we weren’t panicking I started becoming nervous and worried. We spent several minutes in the elevator pressing the help button, alarm and banging on the door. Prior to calling 911 my husband tried to pry the door open. He managed to open it only a couple inches. He began yelling out the door as I pressed the alarm. Finally a maintenance man responded and stated they would get us out. By this time we were both very stressed. Upon exiting we told them that nothing in the elevator worked and it needed to be serviced. I went to the front desk and my husband took our luggage outside. There was a lady at the front desk and I told her we had been stuck in the elevator and the “help” button and other buttons would not work. I got no response, she proceeded to answer a call which set me over the top. I told her to take my name down and I wanted our night stay refunded as it was a horrible experience. The female manager came out of the back. I told her we had been stuck in the elevator and we were calling for help and nobody came to assist us. She told me they were not refunding me and weren’t going to do anything and said, “let’s go” to the other lady. They proceeded to walk to the back. She had a very nasty, cold attitude. She was very unprofessional and never apologized for the experience. The older maintenance man was also very rude. The staff at this hotel needs to be retrained or fired. After such a stressful event the manager should have tried to reduce the stress level by apologizing and finding out what took place so she could resolve the issue. Instead she came out with a very nasty look on her face and a bad attitude and handled it so poorly that it just made the moment worse. Most people would be stressed after being locked in a hot box with no way out and nobody coming to assist them. I do not recommend anyone to stay at this location. We were staying in Leelanau, Traverse City, Mackinaw City and Petoskey for 10 days and this is the only hotel that we received this type of treatment. There are much cleaner hotels with better customer service in the area.

Amazing People! You think you know what to expect from a Holiday Inn--it's a pretty consistent experience. But every once in awhile something elevates it to amazing. And it's the staff. The man at the front desk was exceptionally helpful, the people working the breakfast buffet were cheerful and chatty and the whole atmosphere was so incredibly pleasant. Free apples and water in the lobby. A shuttle to take you in to the harbor and casino. Just so many little details. Exceptional.

Pretty nice place, can’t believe folks are paying $300 night! OK so I sat through a timeshare presentation with Maureen and they booked me here three nights after paying $279 and it ended up being a nice time. They normally get $300 a night here which is kind of crazy I don’t know who really pays that much but whatever we only paid 279 for three nights, and they upgraded us automatically without even asking to us king Sweet fifth floor, king bed Whirl pool, hot tub fireplace, full-size refrigerator and TV and balcony facing east not the road such a deal I’m sure that Bluegreen pays a reduced rate maybe $200 based on the fact that the sales tax bill had to pay it was 60 bucks, so yeah they pay about $200 a night or $600 and I only paid not even 300 total For three nights yeah the room was very nice. It was about 600 ft.² pull out couch king bed I’m pretty quiet overall I am I would stay here but not for that kind of money at 300 bucks a night no way Jose, swimming pool, Ashley’s kind of dirty guys for that. Come on you expect that thing cleaned every day, hot tub was pretty good but anyway, we had a good time visiting Petoskey and swim in Lake Charlevoix played golf at Don Mikolas and the chief and the eight at the City Park Grill, where Hemingway used to go and went over and visited at his house over on wallow in Lake. Yeah, the girl check-in was pretty efficient although she was fake smiles at you, and when you turned away, she looked kind of bitchy and the guy that was sitting next to her with the tattoo and earring and went out and smoked. He was a weird looking dude too but anyway, When are these places going to learn to flip over a mattress? I understand you get can’t get any bigger work there but man get somebody in there for the mattresses over the breakfast. Is your typical breakfast, although it is better than a choice hotels, bacon, one day sausage the next day, we got a cheese omelette they say they are scrambled eggs that are real. I think they’re better than the cheapest but still your standard breakfast the cinnamon rolls are pretty good and the cough is good so I thought we paid 100 bucks a night for three nights we had a great value. Thank you Bluegreen and thanks for the upgrade. Had a good time. If you can afford it, I can stay here.
