Disgusted In my opinion, because this hotel is under renovation, it should not be booked out at all. There is no mention of this when you book. The check-in area was missing ceiling panels with wiring hanging down at eye level. The rooms are u heaped and most of the area in the middle is taken up by construction vehicles, large refuse bins and workman. Work stated at 7am so you get woken up to the sound of drilling hammering and vehicles backing up. All this for the full rate and no disclosure! The mere fact that Best Western conduct business on this basis is enough for me never to stay there again!

It's a motel. You get what you pay for. Shuttle back to airport leaves every hour on the hour It was clean and cool for being a motel. But the room smelled like cigarettes, and everything was just okay. I will say there was a mini fridge and microwave, which was nice and unexpected for a motel. For the breakfast you get an assortment of white breads and bagels (kinda stale), old yogurt, and overripe bananas. You get what you pay for. I think I am more disappointed because I didn't realize it was a motel. The pictures duped me into thinking it was a nicer hotel, but I should've known based on the price so that's on me. The shuttle that picks you up from the airport is a little green and white bus that says Sky Harbor something.. it's the same shuttle that goes to a nearby parking lot. So call the front desk to get the details on what to look for, it's not going to say "Surestay" on it. Also going back to the airport it leaves every hour on the hour so plan your checkout time accordingly. we had just missed it and had to pay for an uber.

Not a place I would visit again. Attention: Rooms being advertised/sold during major motel construction renovations. Dusty conditions inside room and outside covering vehicles and room furniture. No room fridge or microwave amenities available (for Meds). No ice machine working for summer desert conditions.

Decent hotel, breakfast yes but... so basic It's an airport hotel, so keep that in mind - we were staying here because it's within walking distance of the Celebrity Theater. We were told the neighborhood was "sketchy," and yes, that's true. The hotel has a LOT of cameras on site and our experience was fine, our belongings were safe and it was a relatively nice property, even though it was under renovation during our stay. Yes, a little noisy, of course, and yes, I would prefer that banging and drilling started later than 6:30am, though our alarm was set for 6:30am, so that was a lucky break. I'm sure the renovation will make for nice fresh new rooms. Ours was okay. Not enough chairs though. ONE desk chair, other than the bed. Breakfast is very basic, and also, food MUST be consumed in the breakfast space, so we ate elsewhere. Inexpensive, nice that they have a pool, not a terrible experience.
