Clean and Comfortable This hotel was convenient for our 5 night trip although it was difficult to find because their light was burned out and it was behind another business. I had to go and ask for facial tissues, a trash can and also our key cards kept expiring but staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

Broken AC in June We stayed here at the end of June when it was over 100 degrees outside. Got in late and assumed AC would work. Finally realized it wasn’t working but since it was the middle of the night we didn’t ask to change rooms as we were already in bed trying to sleep. Next morning we told them the AC was broken. They checked it and confirmed it wasn’t working. Manager was supposed to contact us regarding a refund. Not only did he not do that, I called two more times and he still refused to return calls. Do not spend your money on a place that has so little disregard for its customers.

Nice staff, but.... Our first room smelled like smoke, but the staff was very accommodating and changed our room immediately, encouraging us to let them know of we needed anything. The room, at first glance, appeared to be clean, but there stains on the clean comforters and a fresh food stain on one of them we didn't see untill the next morning. The pool is open 24 hours which is a bonus, but it was not asthetically pleasing. The furniture, decor by the pool and vegetation was sparse. Not a welcoming pool.

Failed to meet acceptable standard for accessible room reservation Accessible Room 108 had shower curtain installed incorrectly, allowing water to spread across bathroom floor and create a hazardous mess that had to be mopped up with extra towels to eliminate safety hazard. Also, room fridge did not have freezer for our freezer pacs to treat inflamed knee recovering from injury. Had to take freezer pacs to front desk to store in hotel freezer' Big inconvenience for one recovering from knee and balance issues in accessible room where the freezer is most likely to be needed. Only one luggage cart for this large, two-story hotel. Waited an hour for cart to appear at check-out time but had to make multiple trips to car instead on way out. This is a good example of the inconsistency in Choice Hotels. The Comfort Inn in Las Cruces I-25 North the next evening was excellent in reference to the accessible room features discussed above and much more, including at least 4 luggage carts in lobby. This was a model for Choice Hotels to make as standard...best stay in road trip was in Las Cruces. Even reserved parking for Elite members.
