Great stay! After reading reviews I was very skeptical of what we were in for. Is the hotel under renovations? yeah- slightly. nothing that negatively influenced our stay though. And for all the reviews saying its "outdated"..um hello? that's what a renovation is for! Anyways, this hotel was AMAZING. My family absolutely loved it; so much, we devoted a whole day of our travels to staying and enjoying the hotel and water park area. Every staff member we came in contact with, was so kind and helpful! Both sets of pools were so nice, clean and WARM! We enjoyed the lazy river along with the pool bar near it! We did dinner at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed it near the fire pit in courtyard area. Honestly, I cant say enough positivity regarding this hotel. I raved so much to family about it, that feb of 27' they have booked as well. Hoping to join them and visit back to see the wonderful changes the renovation has.

STAY ANYWHERE ELSE I should have listened to these reviews!! DO not stay here. Where do i even start.... I did read the reviews and i did my homework. I called and called and verified. I emailed specifically with the Sales Manager (Christi) and she confirmed ALL rooms would be renovated by March. Yes, I had it in writing. Confirmed I would get a renovated room, in addition to the families in our group. NOPE. Construction is behind. Only the South rooms were renovated. I called to verify our room was renovated and that did not happen; were were placed in the North building (nasty and dirty). I was moved to the South building for an upgraded fee of $20, but upon getting my bill and i was charged $100 per night to upgrade. EXTORTION and illegal as i did not agree to this fee. I called many times and the story changed constantly. Sometime there were 2 pools open after 5pm and then it would be 1. They sent pictures of the new room i would be getting to be given an old dirty room. These rooms are not cheap. This is not a resort but more like a motel 6. There were no basketball courts, no swim up bar, the waterpark restaurant is closed. I called to have my invoice fixed and no response yet. The hotel should not be operational. They are not staffed properly. The food takes a really really long time to arrive. The waterpark had 1, maybe 2 waitresses and 1 bartender which was not enough for the 200+ people at the pool. We waited 45 minutes for breakfast and same for dinner. The hotel reeks of marijuana which i understand is legal in AZ but not something i want my kids around. It smelled so bad it was coming through the vents and could not open the patio door. We were with 20 families and all had the same experience. Hilton has lost my 30+ year of business travel loyalty. I will be staying at Marriott.

Don’t stay here I have Diamond for Life with Hilton meaning I have stayed over 1000 nights with Hilton properties. Three night stay at this property. Was given a room that was scheduled to be remodeled, it was in extremely poor shape. Front desk did not respond about the issue with the room. I Was told I would receive the food and beverage credit and proceeded to charged $700 to the hotel during my stay. Hotel backed out on the credit and said I didn’t qualify after being told I would. I would not have spent that much money at the property if I was not receiving my credit. Lastly, I was charged for something I did not buy at their pool restaurant. Hotel has ignored me asking to get the charge removed from the bill. I will not use this property again. There are other, better properties in the Phoenix area.

Relaxation at it's Finest Beautiful property, sweet pool and lazy river. Lots of space at the pool. Enjoyed the balcony very much. Greg did an excellent job of checking us into an upper floor. Very well done... Xavier shuttled us to the local restaurant. Both these men were Courteous, Friendly & Professional. Can't wait to see when the remodel is complete, especially on the miniature golf course. Thank you all so much for a relaxing stay, Bob & Kathy

Yes, its under construction but we knew that and still enjoyed our time here! I am one who will read a ton of reviews before making a decision on something so felt obligated to leave an honest review of our time at Hilton at the Peak. We lived in PHX for 10 years and have our favorite hotels- Westin Kierland, Hyatt Gainey Ranch and Phoenician. #1 being Westin Kierland because of the outdoor spaces and the hotel is simply gorgeous. We were in PHX for a soccer tournament but went a few days early for family vacation time. Rates at Westin for Presidents weekend + post Phoenix Open were over $850! So I was looking for a hotel close by with a lazy river, waterslide and fun pool area. I was SUPER hesitant to stay here because of all the bad reviews. Each time I called the hotel to check on the renovations progress, they were super helpful and guaranteed us a renovated room. I was glad they did! The room was nice and worked out well for our family of 4. The staff was SUPER friendly and welcoming and I got the sense they appreciated people are there during the renovation. Yes, we did hear drilling when we checked in and worried it would be the case during our stay but it only lasted a few minutes and we didn't hear it again. In the mornings, we would hear some noise but no more than any other hotel and we travel a lot- there will always be noise from other guests and housekeeping so some noise from trucks outside was expected. The drain in the shower is not great so we pointed that out to the staff but with a family of 4 heading out for dinner every night, we were all getting ready at the same time so it filed up fast. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash bottles don't stay on the new tile walls in shower so they are also working on finding a solution. Our goal for this hotel was something affordable before checking into our tournament hotel and a hotel with a fun pool area and this place was 100% that! My family loved the pool and our kids said they really didn't see much of a difference from Westin Kierland. Lazy river was the best! Water was warm and my kids loved the pool volleyball and mini golf. Our goal was not to be in the hotel room our entire time there and we made the most of our pool time. Plus, hotel was right near Piestewa Peak for great hiking and super close to everything for shopping & dining options. Yes, its under construction in some parts, and its no Westin Kierland or Phoenician but for the price we got, nice staff and great pool area and location, I am glad we stayed here! It was fun to try a new hotel in the area.
