Follow-up on Survey We stayed at this hotel on July 28-30, 2023. I received a survey and explained our terrible experience due to the room from hell next door to us (both nights, different guests) and how the room I initially booked was not available and we were moved to a different room. Within a day of filling out the survey, Chase Little, the Asst. Gen. Mgr., sent me an email wanting to discuss our experience. We finally connected today and Chase was very sympathetic to our situation while we stayed there and apologized profusely. Chase wanted to make it right because he knew we didn’t get any sleep while there. He and I agreed on how for him to make it right and he did. I greatly appreciate him reaching out to me. That’s what good customer service should be. This was our first bad experience at a Hampton Inn and Suites but because Chase reached out to make it right, we will continue staying at a Hilton hotel.

Don't Fall in the Shower! Second time staying at this Hampton Inn. Rooms are spartan but comfortable. HEADS UP! The tub/shower combo is EXTREMELY SLICK under foot! Yes, there is a grab bar on the wall but if your feet slip out from under you the grab bar will be useless. We noticed it immediately when stepping over the tub into the shower. Best keep 1 hand on the grab bar at all times. This was apparently a standard room and beds are comfortable. No complaints there. Oh, room coffee sucks! Would have gotten coffee from the lobby coffee bar and taken up but no microwave to reheat next morning.

Desperately needs an update The front desk agent was courteous and professional - very nice young woman. The hotel is badly in need of a renovation or maybe just a thorough cleaning. Our room looked, smelled, and felt grubby. The hallway carpets are stained and lumpy. The elevators are quick enough, but dirty from the track at the bottom to the worn buttons, to the sticky door. The price is good, but this is a low-price area - other hotels are probably a better value. We are here just one night, and did not complain to the front desk - from the looks of the public areas, I doubt another room would be any better. Hilton and Hampton Inn, you can do better (this is our 12th hotel this trip, so we have sampled a lot of Hilton properties).

Yuck!!! Yuck!!!! Usually Hamptons are reliable…..clean & comfortable… Well, not this one!….Beware! Upon arrival, the lobby smelled like sewage, The room itself was very dark, lamp shades torn! Only a pocket door separates the bathroom…Tiny rooms! When I returned from my evening function, the entire floor smelled like smoke,.. My room had a weird smell of a deodorizer, less than pleasant…. Upon leaving, hotel staff was mopping floor area in front of elevators, saturating the floor, creating a slipping hazard, while exiting with luggage, at exactly check out time, genius! Do yourself a favor, stay elsewhere! Run away!!!

Just don't!!! It was a comedy of errors, from no hot water to an overflowing toilet. Lack of towels, broken washer, lack of breakfast offerings and crappy attitude by the front desk staff particularly Lilly. The elevator is so loud that it kept us awake and broke down twice during our 3 day stay. The hotel is old and needs a serious overhaul . It's overpriced amd you can likely get a better stay elsewhere. This is definitely not Hilton standard. They should be embarrassed to have this hotel as a part of their chain.
