Pleasant two night stay Hotel was clean and we had an excellent breakfast every morning...the location is right in the middle of everything...we will certainly return. The pool was nice and clean and open most of the day. My girlfriend and I will not hesitate to stay again

Good for a one-night stay, and it's not a motel. Good for a one-night stay, and it's not a motel. We reached around 9ish at night and the first thing that came to my mind was, where is the hotel? The reception area/room/cottage is right on the side of the road, and after clearing everything, you drive like 300 meters to the hotel. Roads around the hotel are not that good (Potholes and all), and if you are reaching here at night, it's kinda confusing. Make sure you know how to reach the hotel from the reception area. And yes, if you are here in the reception area and not finding anyone, means the receptionist has gone to the hotel to attend to some business, and it can take 20-30 minutes, as they walk to the hotel and come back- that's kind of frustrating . Anyway, we got a room on the 2nd floor, I was fine climbing stairs with luggage but not sure about old folks. My room and bathroom were fairly clean, well well-lit- no issues at all. They start breakfast at 6 AM, they have complimentary breakfast (usual stuff) and a swimming pool as well. Of course, we did not use it as we were early risers and then left for Canada. Overall- 3.5/5

Good Enough Rated a 3 because it just was not a 4. We stayed two nights and would stay again. Ours was a two-bed suite with an efficiency kitchen. It was rough around the edges. No base boards in one room. The AC smelled of cigarette smoke. Eventually it aired out or we became accustomed to it. The room appeared clean. The pool looked nice. Lights were OK. There were enough towels. The refrigerator was larger than some with a freezer. No elevator.

Quiet and Clean Quiet property, clean enough bathroom, everything worked, well-lit room with functional desk and chair! Wifi worked. A real surprise in today's rapacious corporate Choice Hotels world. Bed was comfortable, HVAC worked inobtrusively.

Will not stay again We should have known from what we paid for this one night stay, but we took a chance on an express deal, hoping for a good deal. When we arrived the office is in a building away from the main part of the hotel. The hotel itself is back from the street, behind other buildings and we missed the sign the first time we drove by. The person checking us in wasn’t unfriendly per se but very business like and to the point. He certainly didn’t make us seem very welcome. We were given verbal directions to our room which was located on the second floor and please note, there are no elevators, so you must be able to climb the stairs. There was a huge pot hole in the driveway to get to our room, which we hit because we were looking at signage for our entrance. When we opened the door to the building, the smell of some sort of air freshener about knocked us over. It’s almost like they are trying to cover up smoke or a musty smell by using it extra strength. Our room was fairly clean, although I really questioned if the sheets had been changed or just smoothed out and tucked back in. I promptly took wipes and wiped everything down. The air conditioning unit made a chirping noise almost like a cricket being in the room. The tub had cigarette burns on it or that is at least what they looked like to me. The nonslip mat was brown in the bottom of the tub, which while it might have been that color, was pretty outdated. In fact the whole hotel is very outdated. I offered to change hotels and “eat” the cost of the room, but my husband assured me we would be ok as it was just overnight. We did stay the night, but we did not attempt to eat breakfast there or use the pool so I can’t speak about how those were, but they are offered. Over all, if you are desperate and just need a room for the night, it will be fine, but you can find much nicer places to stay in the area for just a little more than what we paid for this room.
