Nice Service People-Cheap Ownership We booked the John Aldean room/cabin for a relaxing night from a business networking event I brought my partner to, expecting an elevated room to treat ourselves to. The nice things: jetted tub, freestanding cabin and upgraded bathroom mirror and TVs. Staff were very friendly! You can tell the ownership takes the cheap way out. Breakfast items were all thawed, frozen, instant products with a KCup machine that produces way less coffee than it states. We threw away half our breakfast. The room smelled odd and we figured out it was coming from the one AC unit. It smelled of mold and couldn't function right since the Blackout curtains covered the temperature gage and the air vent so the room was reading at 74 degrees instead of the 64-68 we tried to set it at. The bathroom door was grungy- covered in brown/tan fingerprints. The bathroom sink plumbing was fully exposed from the cheap counter space and the storage shelf underneath was sagging to one side and unusable. The walls had a bad paint job that was only there to cover nicks, dings and scrape in the wall (which the "paint job" was unsuccessful at). The carpet was well worn with set in stains. The bathroom had a heater but not fan ventilation providing a very humid, uncomfortable room after using the jetted tub.

Great stay We loved our stay at this hotel. The site and surroundings are kept meticulously clean. Beautiful colorful garden and even hanging baskets at the roof near the doors to the hotelrooms. Loved the selection of breakfast food. That was really yummy!

Near Plymouth Rock. Beautiful property. Resort like. Outside room entrance in several different buildings. Quiet. I felt very safe. Easy walk to downtown waterfront area which has many good restaurants. Plymouth Rock park and Mayflower replica. We enjoyed walking downtown early in morning for less crowded sightseeing.
