Annual trip moving grandson to college Even though it is a bit out of the town of Plymouth it's well worth the drive. Staff is so friendly, especially the South Viet Nam gentleman. They have done a great deal of upgrades since the last trip and the breakfast room was open.

Horrible experience I rarely ever post a negative review for anything but this was a particularly bad experience that needs to be shared. My parents, husband and I (along with my chocolate lab) booked this hotel for a quick weekend away, we wanted to be close to Lincoln and near my brother who was staying at a hotel nearby. I found the hotel by looking online for pet friendly hotels as this was a family weekend and we didn’t want to leave the dog behind. After finding the inn on a dog friendly hotel booking site, I double checked the website to ensure it was pet friendly. The homepage of the website said “pets are allowed.” We came up and the place was run down (the reviews about odors and tv are accurate) but hey we were just there for some family time away and needed a place that would welcome the pup. In the interest of an honest story, the next morning I was walking my dog outside and she barked at who we believe is the owners husband. This was nothing major she let out a couple barks and it was under control immediately. We were then told dogs were not allowed, to which I showed the webpage saying otherwise and the owner told me that pets are okay if you pay a $50 fee. Not wanting to deal with the hassle, I immediately agreed to pay the fee and went to the office to do so. Mind you, there is a sign in the office stating that pets are allowed at the hotel. Fast forward, we went about our day —went to Lincoln with the dog for a hike. When we returned from our hike they had deactivated our room key. We promptly went into the office where they asked us how many people were in our room. We replied 4 which is the number of people on the booking and set for the hotel room, again it was my husband, me and my two parents. The lady was extremely rude to my husband and reluctantly turned our key back on. This is absolutely unacceptable. We were not causing trouble, we were there to play board games and hangout with each other. Outside of the one time my dog let out a few barks, she was inside our room sleeping or with us away from the inn and was extremely well behaved. She was never there without supervision from the four of us. I will never go back here after the way the staff treated us Nevermind how run down the actual inn is (I’ll let the other reviews speak to that).

Clean Rooms!!! They have improved the cleanliness there. Same owners who are not polite. They did hire housekeepers who actually clean the rooms. I met Connie and this man. They were very sweet and made sure I had everything we needed. Great service from those two.

Pilgrim Inn is a dump Worst place we ever stayed. Claimed to have air conditioning. Room was same temp as outside !87degrees! Ran air cond. at 70 degrees for 4 hrs and the temp never dropped below 80. When brought up to management we got a bad attitude like we were the problem. We asked for a fan for the window, 2 hrs later we were given a little desk fan. Second day we found our room was never cared for and key card not working. We were told to move to the room next door for working air conditioning. Finally!! Third day upon our return we were blocked from entering the room with construction, remodeling supplies. Management "thought" we had left! That's BS!!! A huge mirror fell off the wall in the Middle of the night, not only waking us bot scared us as well. Shoddy work. Don't believe workers are qualified or certified to do this type of renovation.
