Excellent basic place to stay Ignore the complaints. This Super 8 motel was an excellent basic and economical place to stay. We requested a room on the lower floor and that's what we got. The room was clean, well furnished, not small, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was fine; again, nothing fancy but all the basics in good order including clean towels and shower. More than enough parking and ease of entry. This motel seems to be a family run business and they seem to be dedicated to keeping it in good order. Particularly notable is that we were there for the eclipse, and they did not inflate their price, unlike almost all other places in the vicinity. If you're looking for a good, economical place to stay north of Albany, this is an excellent choice!

This is an over-priced "cheap motel" To be clear, the sheets and bathroom were clean, but it is very much a "cheap motel" experience at a rate that appears to reflect the area and season, and not in any way the condition or amenities of the hotel. It looks shabby from the outside and in the common areas; the rooms are worn; the beds had bad mattresses, and the breakfast was a meagre offering of pre-packaged muffins/danishes, some bananas or apples and coffee/juice. There are other "inexpensive" hotels in the area that have better conditions and amenities.

Good Stay but with Room Charge Issue I stayed here May 7th, 2024 for one night. It was a good stay and I would stay again. I also had one issue that hopefully will be resolved. Somehow, the person who stayed in the room on the same night next to me used my card to pay for his room. I don't know if it was malicious or accidental by the guest or hotel. The guest who "used" my card to pay for his room was Luis Tejada of Brooklyn. The manager of the Super 8, Katelyn Brown, has been helpful and very nice to speak with but my issue is still not resolved. I disputed the $74.54 charge with my credit card, Barclays, but they are perplexed and feel like the charge happened at the Super 8 but are not sure how. I hope this can be further investigated by all parties and hope to get this charge dropped. I do not want Super 8 to lose anything on this if my card number was somehow stolen by Mr. Tejada.

In desperate need of an update. The only pros about the hotel were the proximity to the highway and I will say that the hotel was clean. I understand this is a budget hotel but, the hotel is in desperate need of an update. Everything in the room was old and worn. We entered our room and found the coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave oven, TV and a lamp plugged into a single power stripe on the floor. Needless to say, we unplugged everything but the refrigerator and TV. Talk about a fire hazard and probably an illegal act! The mattress had a huge hole/cavern on one side. It was probably 2 inches wide, 2 inches deep and 3 feet long. Made for an uncomfortable night sleep. The shower drained very slowly. By the time you were finished with your shower, you were standing in water up to your ankles! There were only small muffins available for breakfast - we were told the "shipment hadn't come in". We were there for 5 nights, and nothing ever came in. Needless to say, we would not choose to stay at this hotel again. We will look for other options on our next trip.

What are they thinking?? At 11pm the door opened. Thought I was dreaming as I was sleeping. Then heard the door open again. Got up and saw a tool to push the inside latch out of the way. I slammed the door shut and bent the tool. Whoever it was asked for the tool back. They said, “sorry, didn’t realize the room was rented”.I opened the door a little and they got the tool. Never saw their face as I was still tired and not thinking properly. Went to the front desk to complain and they said they would have the manager check the cameras. The front desk attendant stated the tool they had for the latch was silver. The one I saw was gold. Won’t stay here again.
