Great experience / pet friendly Very nice hotel, clean, seemed quite new too. Comfortable beds. They have an indoor pool, we unfortunately didn't use it since we just spent the night but over all it was a very nice experience. It is pet friendly. They have plenty space in the room and the breakfast area.

Exceeded expectations I save my 5-star reviews for fancy hotels. But for a standard motel, this one far exceeded my expectations. It was clean, comfortable bed, nice breakfast area. It appeared either new or nicely updated. It is a very nice motel and we spent a lovely night after being on I-80. We found Wyoming highways to be very nice, and my recommendation would be to stay off I-80 as much as possible. However you get here, the Comfort Inn is a great place to rest.

Save yourself the discrimination! It used to be my favorite hotel until Sam the front desk clerk discriminated and lied to us. We have been very good customers as well as good Choice members and he treated us a bit lower than dirt. My son is Autistic and the nicest kid in the world, although imposing at 6 foot 5. I still had my hospital wristband on as I had to be seen for possible appendicitis. He said the room we wanted was full. I went online and booked it (it was the king suite with the hot tub). So a lie. He then said we had to pay a $250 locals deposit because we stay there too much. I am from Wyoming and I go to Idaho Falls to shop. Alpine, where Im from, is a very small town. In addition, I had 2 different friends want to pay for my room with a card over the phone as they were concerned over my health. Sam said that wasn't allowed. I called and asked if I could pay for a friends room over the phone and was told no problem Actually according to him it was his boss that said this and I spoke with her the next day and she knew nothing about it. So we were lied to, discriminated against, and all for a hotel which I could personally say some terrible things about but I am not going to sink to their level.

Don’t Expect Too Much For one thing they charge top dollar for a mediocre motel at best. $169 plus tax for one person for one night. Ok, I was tired after driving 750 miles and didn’t look around….. big mistake on my part. The guy that checked me in looked like he might have just walked in off the street, street clothes, no name tag, he could have been a guest for all I know. So he tells me the price, I should have just left but I didn’t. I was tired! As I was checking in I noticed the place lacks any decoration, just a plain Jane no frills “lobby/ breakfast room”. I get up to my room and just wanted to take a shower before deciding which fast food place to eat at since that’s about all there is in this armpit of a town. I saw they had shampoo and conditioner in the shower so I left mine in my bag. Luckily I took my body wash in with me. I’m sure most of the oil field workers that stay here are big into keeping their hair conditioned and really don’t need body wash after working all day! Anyway, I go to wash my hair, give the shampoo bottle a squeeze….. oops! It’s empty!! And my shampoo is in my bag! I’m soaking wet so hopefully my Old Spice body shampoo won’t cause what little hair I have left to fall out! I get out, get dried off and headed for the closest fast food place, Burger King. I made the mistake of going in since the drive thru was wrapped around the building. Long story short….. you don’t want to see the kitchen in that place, trust me!! Anyway, I ate and so far no stomach issues….. Get back to my room, which is fairly clean and large, and decide to go downstairs to get ice for my ice chest…… oh, sorry, it’s out of order!!! Of corse it is! After all $169 plus tax what do you expect! I go back upstairs and see a sign saying there’s an ice machine on MY floor! Cool! I walk all the way to the other end of the hall….. no sign on this one but what do ya know… no ice either!! And why would there be, it’s only a $169 plus tax room!! Come on!!! Is it too much to ask for some ice? I don’t know, if I had it to over again I would have avoided Rawlins all together and for sure would have checked out some other motels! They might all be the same but I know this is my last stay at this one.

Great place to stay with pool & hot tub Very nice hotel with a clean room and comfortable bed. Pool and hot tub were very relaxing after a long day on the road. Laundry and exercise facilities available. Better than average breakfast. Friendly staff. Would stay here again if in the area.
