Hampton Inn & Suites Riverton

Good place, esp for Riverton Hotel exceeded my expectations. No street noise, recenty renovated (except the elevator carperts were filthy) and things worked. I guess I was expecting a lot worse, since it is Riverton, but it was fine. Lots of fresh bananas and apples at breakfast, enough towels in the room, treadmill in exercise room worked fine, etc. Water flow was a but weak, as is the case so many places in the shower,but I managed. I would certainly stay here again if I had to be in Riverton again.

_ Very nice hotel for a small town, would stay there again Nice hotel but would have been better except currently being renovated. Check in and out was easy and friendly. We were given a room already renovated. Which was very nice. Desk clerk very friendly provided good service and info on the local area.

Great Surprise for a small town We had a great stay at the Hampton Riverton. While the property was under renovation, the staff did a great job to minimize the impact to guests. It was great that we were greeted whenever we walked in the door. Staff was also helpful with suggestions of things in the area. Would be happy to stay here again, if we were to come back to Riverton.

Go somewhere else A short review because it was a short stay. Arriving at the hotel we were met by a woman on reception who was surly and unkempt. Check in was fairly quick but we were slightly alarmed by a very dodgy looking character slouched in one of the 2 easy chairs in reception. He was sat sideways in the chair with both legs over the arm of the chair. Based on the condition of the chairs, the arms were filthy, this was a regular occurrence. Not the sort of first impression you would hope to give. The hotel felt run down, dowdy and smelled horrible. On the way to our room we noticed that there were large gaps between the bottom of the walls and the floor, which again did not present a good impression. We very quickly decided that we had no wish to stay at this hotel and were lucky enough to find a King Suite at the nearby Holiday Inn at a very reasonable price. When we walked into the reception at the Holiday Inn a few minutes later all of our misgivings about the Hampton Inn & Suites were brought into focus. We were met by an extremely helpful, uniformed receptionist. The reception area was clean, welcoming and smelled fresh. We had to pay extra for the room at the Holiday Inn but as far as we were concerned it was money very well spent.

Enjoyable stay in Riverton, Wyoming. Very nice stay at this Inn. The communication was great from the front desk. They reminded me that they were having a reception in the lobby at 6:00 pm which included beer & wine, plus dinner. The room was spacious and had a King Size bed, which was very comfortable. They also have breakfast every morning. I enjoyed my stay there very much.
