Quality Inn Roanoke Airport

Room should be condemned I stayed at this quality Inn on Jan 26-27 (one night). I have stayed at this location many times and received an average room. Nothing too impressive. However, this time I got a substandard room as you can see by the photos the heating unit was leaking water. The towel rack above the toilet was falling off the wall. The wall behind the bathroom door was damaged. And the wall besides the toilet was suffering major water issues and the paint could be peeled right off the wall. On Saturday, January 27 I received a customer survey via email concerning my stay. I completed the survey and send it in approximately 10:30 PM . I did receive an email back from the general manager who told me I was mistaken that he inspected all of his rooms and found nothing as I reported. And even suggested that this was not his hotel and I must’ve stayed at some other location I emailed him back the photos and a copy of my receipt And pointed out that he must have major accounting issues or very incompetent people. I am a diamond elite member I was not acknowledged is that and the check-in clerks seem to be uninterested and was not a good encounter. Checking in this property is sliding downhill and I will never stay at this location again, nor can I ever recommend it Even to house dogs or animals at because it would be unfit for them too

Sketchy and dirty With so many options in the area, and the price we paid I was sorely disappointed. I pretty much only expect safety and cleanliness. The Inn was sketchy from the start, even the door wasn't able to be secured properly and even with closed curtains you could easily see into our room from the parking lot. The towels were not cleaned properly, we had brown stains on our sheets, and the floor left our feet blackened. It was a very late stop over for us, so we just dealt with our dirty room so we could catch some sleep, plus we doubted the rest was much better. The breakfast was lacking, barely anything other than cereal and water coffee. I would not at all recommend this place, it's way too expensive for what it is.

Nazi breakfast police. Check in was fast and pleasant. Tv and remote were outdated and hard to operate. Breakfast was horrible hardly anything available. Burnt crumbs in waffle maker. Three staff members hanging out and having breakfast were the only other people in the dining room. One asked me if I was going to throw away the pancake batter cup I had used. I indicated I would. And he quipped back “just wanted to make sure you cleaned up your mess? How bout refilling the hot food items instead of harassing me? I’ll pick another place to stay my next time through.

Decent place to sleep We stayed one night on our way elsewhere. The room itself appeared clean, sheets were soft, updated… the bathroom needed a bit of work. Mostly maintenance issues. The tub didn’t drain correctly while showering and part of the shower spout had no water coming from it. If there was an exhaust fan, it didn’t work and the bathroom stayed hot with the door closed. It just needed some attention. We slept well, the only issue was even with the curtains closed, light came in the side and hit the mirror in the room and reflected right on the bed. Just a little disconcerting when you woke during the night. Other than that, it was a quiet rest. Breakfast in the morning ends at 9:30 so you have to get up early if you want to get cleaned up before. They had eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and waffles (waffle maker, self serve) as well as cereal, yogurt, etc. There is no elevator, so if you’re on the second floor, you have to lug your luggage up. All staff we interacted with were friendly. I would probably stay again if needed.

I'm Impressed For The Price! Very spacious and clean room. It's not brand new but for the price it's a great room! Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow. It's also very quiet. I asked for a room on the top floor and it's definitely not crowded tonight so here I go to sleep!
