Perfect stay Just stayed last night in one of the one bedroom suite rooms. They are in the adjacent “lodge” building, and we just loved it. Service was excellent. Everything about the stay was great. My husband and I have stayed at a lot of hotels in the Rochester area in the past 10 years, and this was the best. The room layout was also perfect for our family. We could put our daughter to bed on the pullout in the living room, and my husband and I could still stay up in the bedroom, with perfect access to the bathroom without disturbing our daughter. Highly recommend this place. We will be back for sure.

Great Service I stopped by this hotel when traveling to see family. The service here is excellent. When I made a reservation, I told the person on the phone that I will check in very late. Then, when I arrived at 1AM, they overnight manager said he saw the note and waited for us. There is complementary breakfast here. I liked how breakfast was served in a big room with many tables. The food here was typical hotel breakfast food, but they also served yogurts, hard boiled eggs, and few different sorts of coffee along with the usual omelet and potatoes. A big pro to the breakfast is it goes to 10:30. Many other hotels go to 9:30. I stayed at the lodge house, which is separate from the main building. I didn't like how as I walked into the lodge house hallway, it smelt like cigarette smoke. The room didn't smell but looked outdated. The front door could barely close and the tv and furniture were at least 20 years old. There isn't a tub in the bathroom and it was more of a shower pan design. There were some pros to the room though. The beds were very comfortable and I liked how there was a snack bar right in the room. Each snack costs $1.95. All in all, I had a great stay. Country Inn can make for a good choice if you are in the Rochester area.

Terrible experience! Our stay at this hotel was terrible. Our room was in their second building, which has no elevator. There is only one flight of stairs, but still pretty inconvenient when carrying suitcases. The front desk did not even bother notifying us about the lack of the elevator at the check-in. In our room the sink barely drained, and the toilet was noisy and would run for about 10 minutes every time it was flushed. When I called the front desk, they came and said they can't do anything for us because their maintenance crew is off for the evening and the maintenance closet is locked. They also could not move us to a different room because they were sold out, and since we had already entered our room, it was classified as "dirty" and could not be rented to anybody else. The alarm clock in our room was for some reason set an hour ahead.

Friendly spot, convenient location This is a friendly busy place. The rooms were clean (although there were some tiny ants in the bathroom.) Breakfast is fresh and good. It’s nice that checkout time is comfortably late. The location is convenient to Pittsford. The lobby/breakfast area always has guests lounging and visiting which makes the place feel home-like.

SAY NO TO LODGE BUILDING! Say NO to 2nd floor in the detached Lodge building! Yeh, the room was extra large and nice but....front desk staff told an obvious senior it was an "upgrade". I don't call having NO elevator and having to drag a suitcase and other belongings up a long flight of stairs an upgrade. It was no fun having to walk in the cold and rain all the way to the other end of the parking lot to get to the lobby for snacks or breakfast either. On top of that, the shower didn't work properly. Half the water came out of the bottom faucet and half the shower head and it could not be changed....which asks the question how did the clean the tub and not notice and report that issue?
