Very positive stay! The employee at the front desk smiled as we walked in. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was pancakes, omelettes, hash browns to name a few. All delicious! And it is only 2 miles from thunder valley. I highly recommend this hotel!

The owner does not reinvest in his business We knew something was up when we were told to come back to the front desk if the room wasn't to our liking so they could fix it. The location was fine and easy access to the Thunder Valley Casino for a show. The maintenance and upkeep of the room was so disappointing. Mismatched paint, lazy repairs. It seemed clean. If you just need a place to stay it's fine. If you expect someone to maintain their hotel well and care about asthetics I would skip it.

Full price with minimum :service and amenities This hotel is in good condition and well located for shopping and food. Easy access to the surrounding area and very little road noise. However this location is still operating under COVID procedures. Breakfast is a muffin in a bag if you sign up the night before. No room cleaning, no coffee in the lobby, and no laundry service. All of these things are the opposite of what’s stated on the website. But the pool is open. Because you can’t get COVID in a pool? AND, there’s a $75.00 charge if you leave a day earlier than your reservation states. I spend 150 nights a year in IHG properties across 5 states and this is the only hotel not offering full services. At this stage I can only assume it’s a cost saving issue and not pandemic. I won’t stay here again, there is much better value in the area.

Stephanie was very helpful! /great location and staff. They let me stop by for a couple hours and snooze in my car during the night and get back on the road. Hard to find in California. Of course common sense do not be trashy or do anything your not suppose to do. Don’t ruin hospitality !

Beware of Deceitful Reservation Practices I booked a King room on 9/20/21. Received confirmation emails on 9/20/21 & 9/21/21. Received an email to check-in digitally to my room the day prior to my stay. I arrived at the hotel at 7 pm on 9/24/21 only to be told they canceled my reservation claiming my credit card did not work when they tried to run it a week earlier for a deposit. This did not make any sense since a deposit was not required, I had only booked my room 5 days in advance, I did not receive any emails indicating my credit card was not accepted, and I knew my credit card was working just fine. The front desk staff did not offer an apology and did not have any explanation as to why I did not receive any notification that the reservation had been canceled. They were awkward & uncomfortable during the entire exchange and it felt like they were hiding something. They offered to book me into one of their remaining rooms, a queen/double ( a lesser room than my reservation) for $50 higher than my reserved rate. I asked them to match the rate in my reservation and they would not. I could not believe how poorly I was being treated as a longtime HI rewards member. We left and went 2 miles up the road and booked a King bed for a lesser rate at a new Springhill Suites where my credit card worked just fine. I cannot trust HI to not strand me far away from home.
