Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Rockmart

Great hotel This was by far the cleanest Eco Lodge I have ever been to, and that is saying something as I work in 6 states. The room was cool and had absolutely no “hotel” smell. Hardwood floors so no nasty carpet. Spacious room.

Reservation disaster to end up in a dirty room I booked online through hotels.com, I had reserved a KING NON_SMOKING room. 3 days prior I called to confirm our reservation and verify the details. I called and they were sold out apparently with only a DOUBLE BED SMOKING, while the staff was very polite and tried to be helpful. They moved us rooms "found" a KING SMOKING and since we were moving rooms I inquired about the jacuzzi room, BOTH of which were not available AND the hotel was "Sold out". Ok then day of I call and ask about the jacuzzi room and it is "sold out" by the end of the conversation he was putting us into the jacuzzi room and our final total would be ($XX.XX) well after moving my room that many times, being "sold out" then ending up in a jacuzzi room that was still smoking, (original reservation KING NON_SMOKING) so now there is an extra charge on my card that at one point he would not change the upgrade fee for all the trouble. HUM well now is saying that it was an upgrade fee. The room was definitely not clean. The best part of the experience is we arrived some time around 9 and were welcomed with a sign: (Hand written) I'm Back in 15 minutes XXX-XXX-XXXX Your time starts now, if I'm don't back in time Please read this again Sorry, Thanks Seriously!?

Silver comet ridw Two nights. Will concede they are quite friendly and supportive to bike riders as that could be a good piece of their business. First night shouting in the hall at 0100-0200, and insisting they leave the hotel. Second night quieter. Breakfast basic at best. So I would not recommend...but sadly in Rockmart this may be as good as it gets.

Eh Nothing special. Good location. But it is a budget hotel. Hallway odor masked with air freshener. Found a few ants in the room on first floor. But for a quick overnight for a wedding nearby it did the trick.

Convenient & Clean This motel is convenient to the Silver Comet multiuse trail. It is clean and reasonably priced. The motel is set back from the highway so it is quiet. The rooms on the back side of the motel face trees and vegetation. We stayed there twice while my husband was riding his bicycle along the Silver Comet. There is an excellent Mexican restaurant .2 mile away. It’s called La Nopal.
