Quality Inn & Suites Rockport - Owensboro North (GOLD AWARD WINNER)

STAY AWAY STAY AWAY!!!! Don't let their pictures fool you. Not only was there actual bodily fluid all over the couch *see pictures-They came in to clean it with Fabuloso...This is not sanitary. Then to top it off my comforter had pee stains on it...Not to mention they never cleaned the mattress protector and it was soiled terribly. The first night we were there they claimed they would send someone to clean and fix all issues (including the poop under the seat of the toilet (see picture)...The bathtub had hair and dirt in corners. When brought to their attention they offered me $25.00 off (which I still have not received) I told them this was unacceptable. All hotels were sold out and they knew we were stuck. I complained to CHOICE and all they could do was offer points. Who would ever want to stay in this dumpster? If I could give a negative star I would.

Ok, clean We stayed after an all day at Holiday World (only about twenty minutes away) with two littles. Hallway did seem a little hazy, but room was clean. Didn’t smell bad like other reviews have started. Pool was closed, not really sure why. Breakfast was typical, but didn’t seem regularly stocked or freshened. Maybe we just caught it at a bad time… There was a bit of a language barrier; staff was always helpful, but the breakfast lady especially didn’t seem to understand anything. Seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere, but really just a mile down the road is a good station and Dollar Gen store. Overall, not a hotel that stands out as awesome, but don’t let the bad reviews totally steer you away either.

Rather sleep in my car! Very dirty hotel. Our room stank like musty old cigarette smoke. The floors were dirty with nasty stains. The hallways were musty and smelly. Ice machine didn’t work. Towels were stained and dingy. Would not recommend anyone staying here.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Unfortunately my sister and I chose this hotel to stay overnight on our trip to Holiday World with our children. It seemed ok online, especially since it was one of the recommended hotels of the park, but I have no idea why. First issue was checking in, the hotel clerk was friendly enough but her appearance was way less than professional, felt more like we were checking into a biker bar. We asked why the pool was closed, she said because "it's gross"....just what we wanted to hear. We finally get to our rooms, mine is borderline ok, I would not dare walk without socks or shoes. The bathroom floor had ground in dirt and the shower curtain was hanging by a few threads. The bed was very uncomfortable and the comforter was really dingy. My sister's room was worse...used washclothes left hanging over the shower rod and bodily fluids (if you know what I mean) appeared to be on the side of the bed. To top it off, it is in the middle of NOWHERE, only area highlight was the huge Fortnite like powerplant! There are no conveniences around the hotel, I really mean none, not even a gas station! We had assumed there would at least be a fast food restaurant nearby, nope, only some dive that offered delivery which the hotel clerk quickly and firmly suggested against. So our only choice was to drive another 15 minutes to a Wendy's for take-out. And speaking of food, there is a free breakfast but only from 6:00-8:00, not that I would have been comfortable with it anyway but those hours were ridiculous. I will NEVER stay in another Comfort Inn!

Amazing Hotel inthe Middle of Nowhere About the only nearby attractions are Santa Claus, IN and Holiday World, so chances are you're here for one of those or else a nearby business. But this was one of the nicest hotels we've visited. Everything was clean, everything! And everything worked. The property appears up to date and modern. Pool and hot tub were very good. Christmas decor was up and added a nice holiday feel. The staff welcomed us. Bed was comfortable, room a good size. Breakfast was a notch above what we usually see in this chain, scrambled eggs not watery. Loved our stay.
