Okay hotel, there are definitely better options The hotel is no longer called the MainStay Suites Rogers. It was bought out by a company called Affordable Suites of America. The older gentleman that drives the van from XNA to the hotel is really nice and knows the area very well. The front office staff is friendly, but I feel the staffs uniform' isn't appropriate for working front desk at a hotel. Scrubs are usually worn in the medical field or in housekeeping, but not in front office. The rooms are clean, but are definitely dated. Breakfast is complimentary for the guests.

Terrible Customer Service I made this reservation through Choice Hotels Corporate as I am an active rewards member. At the time, I noted that I was travelling with a service animal. The reservation was made way back on 8/22/22 because of the Alabama vs. Arkansas football game. I was actually late arriving to the property, at 4AM, but had called earlier to inform them that I was going to be late. Upon arrival to the property, I show the ESA handler paperwork to Margaret at the front desk. She informs me that they do not consider ESA to be a service animal. I replied saying that I could leave the animal in the vehicle for the night, no worries. She replies "this is Arkansas and people do not take kindly to that", she would not allow me to check in to my room. Obviously the other alternatives were fully booked as well at this time of night and she just refused to check me in. She then says there is a pet damage fee of $250, however I tell her I am not going to bring my pet into the hotel. She says she does not trust me. She says if I have cash, she will give it back to me in the morning, but she does not want temporary authorization to be on my card. What was really weird is that she would accept $50 cash at the desk instead, and I told her I am not comfortable tossing cash around for this, At 5:00AM she finally checks us in, taking my license as collateral. She says she is only following policy and that individual owners would charge her if the dog entered property. she follows us to the car to literally look at the dog and make sure we are parked there, this is literally insane at this point, I cannot even sleep and am writing this review in the lobby after allowing my Wife and Best Friend to check in. This is downright appalling customer service experience.

Hydrocephalus stay We had 2 rooms, we like the ease of checking in, the area is quiet, and close to most places we like. We were in the area for our Hydrocephalus walk that was in Springdale this year. The rooms have plenty of space, they just need to work the couches

Almost everything we want a hotel to be This was my second trip to this wonderful place. Our suite was large, comfortable, and included just about everything a kitchen-on-the-run would need. I could live here quite nicely, were I to be in town for a couple of weeks. The hot breakfast is what you would expect. The pool was small and shallow, but wasn't open because of the close of the season. I loved the roll/walk-in shower, since I'm in a wheelchair. I was able to use my walker and get in easily. It is a bit long, so I could not reach the soap/shampoo shelf and had to work it out differently. We stayed in this exact room a few months ago. At that time, my husband reported that the HVAC unit cover was broken, making it difficult to change the temperature. We were dismayed to find that it had not been fixed. This hotel has most of the perfect elements. With just a little effort, it could be spectacular. They should also let people know, at check-in, that there is no daily housekeeping service, unless the traveler asks for same.
