La Quinta Ronks PA This was the second time that we had stayed at this hotel. It seemed a little more run down than in previous stays. It was still fairly clean but you can tell that there is more wear than we'd seen before. Room was clean enough but the bathroom shower curtain had been put back up where it looked like it had fallen in the past and it was almost ready to fall again while we were staying in the room. Outside was fairly clean. they do allow pets and we noticed some dog poop on the sidewalk and it was there the whole time that we were there and was never cleaned up. To all you dog owners if they are nice enough to let you bring your dog with you YOU should be nice enough to clean up after your dog!!!!. When we traveled with our dog before he passed we would always clean up after him and watch while others just left it laying.

Our family vacation 2024 This is a very convenient hotel, we had a great time and all the personnel is very attentive and willing to help if anything. All is clean, breakfast good and had many choices. Loved their pancake machine. No need to touch anything, really clean for freaks like my husband

Quiet, comfortable, but limited breakfast options The staff was helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable. There were a couple of minor plumbing issues (the sink faucet had very low pressure, and the tub faucet was very hard to turn off completely). The staff said that they were aware, but that the hotel is scheduled for renovation later this year. They serve a conventional breakfast as many hotels do, however the only item that was low-carb friendly was the scrambled eggs. So if you are on a low carb diet, I would suggest skipping the breakfast here and instead go to some local diner.

Issues all around When we arrived to check in at 3:45 there was a sign on the desk that said be back soon. We found out from another couple who was also waiting that they had been there 30 minutes already. We waited a total of 20 minutes. The staff never apologized or acknowledged the fact that we had to wait. When it was my turn to check in the staff who was working with me seemed distracted and incompetent. In the process I was double billed for the full amount of the room. She blamed 3rd party booking sites, but I booked directly with La Quinta. I was told the front desk couldn’t do anything about the second charge and they would have to call someone to fix it. I called corporate and was told the front desk was giving me the run around and only the front desk could reverse the charges. They did eventually get reversed. After that mess we went to our room and found the ac fan was noisy and sounded off balance. The room door looked like someone had forced it open at some point. The frame was cracked and broken and there was a 1” gap at the top corner of the door. My husband could see in our room from the hall. Finally the bathtub water was running the entire time at a slow trickle. We couldn’t turn it off. I never did get the confirmation numbers I was promised and never got my receipt at checkout. Overall the entire stay was frustrating and not a good experience.
