Hampton Inn & Suites Houston - Rosenberg

Renovation success‼️ This Hampton Inn is completing renovations on all rooms and we were able to take advantage of the upgraded looks. They have completed the 2nd and 3rd floors and were working on the 1st floor however outside of seeing the workers go in and out, there was virtually zero disruption to hotel operations. The new decor was very pleasing to the eye and worth the stay. The room was very nice and modern looking, decorated with cool colors. The bathroom area seemed larger than normal but that could’ve been due to the color palette that was used. The breakfast area is roomy and inviting, they have the standard breakfast offerings of the waffle maker, ready made eggs with a meat & potato offering, hot & cold cereals with fruit, yogurt and pastries. They also have the juice machine and coffee and teas. I really had no complaints about my stay. In fact the manager honored a request and obtained a shower chair for my parent’s room since the accessible rooms weren’t open due to the renovations. As far as the surrounding area, there was a Cinamark movie theater in near walking distance to the property. The neighborhood is a real quiet residential area with plenty of places to shop and either sit down or grab a bite to eat within a reasonable walking radius. Places I remember are Target, Aldi’s, a causal steakhouse, and a Mexican restaurant to name a few. Definitely worth a return visit if I’m in the area again!

AN ALL GOOD REVIEW! We came up this past Saturday for a tennis tournament and Holiday Inn cancelled our reservation so driving up to Houston I was frantically looking for a hotel. Not much was available due to Hurricane Beryl. I found this Hampton Inn about 30 min away from our tournament and took it being not much was open around and last two queen! We were pleasantly surprised! The room and hotel was very clean, great AC, hot shower, great breakfast, nice staff , easy check in and out, everything working , nice safe area around shopping, movies, and eating places. They are under renovation but nothing disturbed us at all. They had some new beds in boxes in the halls, but no big deal at all to us. No noises or anything. Direct Tv in rooms with a lot of choices and we had a tub was nice and room was spacious. The bed was comfortable and loved the pillows!! I brought my own and didn’t even need it due to the comfortable deep pillows which most hotels don’t carry anymore. We didn’t have time to swim , but we looked at it and very clean and pretty. We have nothing bad to say about this hotel! Book it if you need one in this area!

Not great I continue to have so-so experiences with Hamptons on my vacation. For me, the best part about this Hampton was the location. It’s well away from major roads, so is significantly more quiet than the others that I’ve stayed at during the past week. The room has the usual Hampton amenities. But in the “cons” column: * I’m not a neat freak by any means. I have a partner with long hair, so I’m used to seeing it on floors. And I think it’s nearly impossible for housekeeping to find every strand of hair. However, the amount of hair I found on the bathroom floor in my room was stunning. Plus, a clump of it on the shower door track. Again, I’m not a neat freak, but this was pretty gross. * The pool was also in rough shape. Really needs a cleaning. * The fitness center needs a fan. They keep the temperature at 68 (too high for a small room with little air flow), so there needs to be a fan in there to give some relief for anyone doing a cardio workout. Also, they need towels (I had to use a towel from my room) and either wipes or cleaning solution to wipe down the equipment when you’re done. I appreciated that they have a Peloton bike (it's a big reason I chose this hotel), but I could only ride for 30 minutes before stopping because I was overheated. * No snack for Hilton Gold/Diamond members. I’m beginning to think this is more the rule than the exception based on my recent experiences. If so, Hilton should stop listing snacks in the membership benefits. Here, it’s only bottled water. “Premium” internet speed was 10mbps. I got it for free as a Diamond member, so I’m glad I wasn’t paying extra for those speeds. I’m generally a big Hampton fan, so it’s a bummer to have another not-great stay at this one.

Good customer service We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Rosenberg. Our stay was nice; the customer service was excellent, our room was clean, the complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of warm foods, but the hotel needs to be renovated.

Excellent Hotel Welcomed by courteous staff. Grounds and room were spotless. Excellent housekeeping with no issues whatsoever. The area is safe and packed with conveniences, too. I liked it so much, I didn’t hesitate to book a second night.
