Great hotel - unbeatable location. I had a great stay at this very large hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic — close to plenty of top attractions and excellent transport links. My room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable, with a large TV and a great bed. It was also exceptionally quiet. Breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of well-cooked items and the whole hotel is kept super clean. A few constructive points: the check-in process felt a little rushed and confusing, with various charges and deposits to navigate. Although the hotel offers complimentary tea, coffee (in the mornings), and water, I wasn’t told about this until several days into my stay. The lift situation — as many others have noted — is an issue and I often had to use the service elevator. That said, meeting the staff ‘behind the scenes’ who also use this elevator, was a highlight; they were incredibly professional and welcoming. The bathroom could also benefit from some modernisation, particularly the shower. Overall, this is a lovely clean hotel in an unbeatable location. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Requests are ignored The hotel is unresponsive to its guests needs and requests. Pre-arrival emails are not answered and in-app requests are likewise ignored. It’s very frustrating.

Would definitely recommend! My husband and I stayed here while we were on our honeymoon. We were upgraded to a room with a fantastic view of the city. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was lovely each morning with lots of different options to choose from. The bar staff in the evening were very friendly and offered great service, the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend, and I would stay again.

Business Trip for two weeks Nice Hotel near Chinatown Up on Nob hill. Stayed almost two weeks for Business. Better area than around Union square that hast gone for the worse in recent years.

San Francisco Treat! This is my second stay at The Stanford Court! With so many great hotels to choose from, this is top on my list. Great location - so easy to get places either by foot, by cable car, or by taxi. Lots of great restaurants nearby. The hotel staff takes time to speak to you and address your needs. The lobby space and the rooms are cozy. The bar restaurant has great service and service overall is great. Special callout to Lauren, Albert, Averill, Tony, John, Todd, Shirley! Thank you so much
