Great location and staff, everything else just okay The location and staff get a 5/5 but everything else is just average. The room was a decent size but looking a little tired in places and the corridors were a little dated also. The lifts struggled when we were there (October 2025) but the service lift worked fine so wasn't actually an issue, just a little strange for a 4 star hotel. We didn't have breakfast but the free coffee and bottled water in reception was a welcome bonus. We would stay again but felt there should be a bit more for the price and actual value was only so so

Hidden Fees and Poor Service Hotel was fine overall, but we had two major issues. First, valet parking. When we arrived, we were told valet would be $75. When we checked out, the charge was $135. We were told this was due to added taxes and a third-party valet fee, none of which were disclosed upfront. To make matters worse, it took over fifty minutes to retrieve our car because it was “stuck” in the garage. Staff showed little concern and offered only excuses, not solutions. Second, the room did not have a refrigerator. Instead, there was a cooler that did not keep food at a safe temperature. We ended up throwing away about $65 worth of food.

Fabulous location and classic hotel Fabulous location on Nob Hill! Staff were so helpful. Nice gym and restaurant. Hotel is a little worn and in need of some updating but I’d stay there again. A special treat was the Level Citrus Fields shampoo, body wash and lotion provided. Such a great scent!

Requests are ignored The hotel is unresponsive to its guests needs and requests. Pre-arrival emails are not answered and in-app requests are likewise ignored. It’s very frustrating.
