Amazing Hospitality, Great Team Our stay was just amazing. Hospitality, team and location were more than perfect. Started with the warm welcome, amazing help with all kind of things. It felt like we are staying with very good friends or let’s call it almost family. We will definitely come back and we would recommend this hotel if you’re staying in San Francisco.

Worse than expected I booked the room based on online ratings and feedback. Walking in the lobby was under reconstruction but no mention was made of that during the reservation. The room was unbelievably small. I could not move my suite case between the bed and the wall. The room was small originally apparently but made even smaller by the addition of a walk in shower. The view was of the ally and side of another commercial building. The garbage trucks worked for hours in the ally below banging and beeping into the night. The breakfast included package was actually only a $20 credit on a $120.00 breakfast, it would have covered only the orange juice. Overall I was disappointed. Luckily I had only booked one night so the impact did not disrupt a whole vacation.

Great stay and staff Great hotel. Was currently under construction so restaurant and other features were unavailable. Enjoyed it regardless and in-room dining was an alternate and convenient choice. Very great location and room was nice, clean and thoroughly enjoyable!

Amazing experience as always Taj Campton SF has a great location, very friendly staff, and excellent food quality recommend this one if you want to be near Union Square area, the location is right next to the Apple Store and 2 minutes from Macys , good shopping options nearby

Disappointing experience As listed on the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts, I had high expectations of an elite hotel experience but was quite disappointed with this stay. Upon arrival, we were informed by the front desk agent that we had been upgraded to a better room. However, we were surprised to find that the room was very small and featured dated furnishings, which did not meet our expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Furthermore, we were not notified in advance that the hotel’s restaurant would be closed for renovations. As a result, we were forced to order room service, which we had to eat while holding the plate in our laps due to the limited seating options (only one chair and a desk combo). While the food tasted satisfactory, its presentation was lackluster. Additionally, the Wi-Fi service was notably slow, with a speed test showing only 7 Mbps. This significantly impacted our ability to work and stay connected during our stay. A mandatory resort fee of $35 was charged for use of the WiFi, fitness center (didn’t use) and a bottle of water in the room. Based on these experiences, I am hesitant to recommend the Taj Campton Palace as a preferred choice on an elite hotel website in the future. It does not meet the standards of luxury and quality that I have come to expect from other fine hotels I have stayed at.
