good affordable Cali central coast option, safe & relaxing Central coast= beauty, space & tranquility. Courtesy Inn more than filled my needs,. modern, ef, clean, safe & spacious room. The staff are helpful. This is the 2nd time I stayed here. My biggest needs were good bath/shower & comfy bed. I got that & more. Priced right and good service..

Worst of the worst The HVAC thermostat had no effect at all on the temp. Started out on low heat. After several hours of sleep I woke up roasting. Turned switch to fan only only to be woken again in a couple of hours from the cold. After taking a shower in the morning I found 2 of the 3 bath towels to have what appeared to be black mascara wiped in one spot. Also found as I showered that the tube of shampoo was less than 1/2 full. Later noticed a 2nd tube was full. Question as to whether the shampoo and towels were used by a previous guest. The room itself was it bad need of refreshing. There was a piece of torn paper left on the clothes shelf in plain view. The TV only got the 3 major networks plus fox and cnn. Doubt the remote had been sanitized given the other findings. I would not stay here again for free. They did give a 10% discount for the restaurant next door which I passed on due to my feelings about the motel.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN SAN SIMEON!!! This place has about anything you'd want! Spacious room with a terrific bed and great cable TV! THEN it has an indoor spa and pool and room rates untouched by the surrounding hotels! Very close to a great breakfast at BIG SUR Restaurant (and you get a discount for staying at Courtesy Inn) and other nice nightlife options in walking distance! Can't wait to return!

Great location Courtesy Inn San Simeon was a great property to stop and spend a peaceful night in a fantastic location. The staff was excellent and extremely friendly. They offered us $8.00 breakfast vouchers for the cafe next door. Clean room, clean bathroom and 2 large queen size beds. Great for a basic stop over with a small fridge and microwave if required. Would recommend to friends for a stop over. The elephant seals were only a few kilometres up the road as well as Hearst Castle which we visited as well. Thx

Great hotel to explore Big Sur We spent there two nights. Really nice place to stay. Great friendly staff. Wonderful indoor pool. Convenient location to start exploring Big Sur. There is no breakfast included but they provide a coupon to have a breakfast in a nearby grill. Very good option. Highly recommend this hotel.
