My favorite Inn The Daniel Webster Inn is absolutely my favorite place on the Cape for lodging. It is cozy, welcoming and the staff are always accomidating. I love the gift shop and I cannot wait until the restaurant and bar are back in operation. There is always plenty of parking and the location of the inn is perfect, right in the middle of a very interactive area.

Rude employee at front desk and hotel in need of renovations On the last night of our staying, we were greeted by a rude employee at the front desk who told us to move our car from the location where we had previously been allowed to park during the previous four nights. We told her that we did ask and receive permission to park there the very first day. Given that she didn't find a note confirming our saying, she suggested that we were lying and ordered us to move the car. It takes one rude employee to ruin a vacation, as well as a rated appreciation. Besides, this hotel is in need of renovations, and is really overpriced for what you really get.

Great place & great location! DWI was a great choice! I only stayed one night, but the room was super clean and comfortable. It was a great location as I visited the Sandwich Glass Museum, Heritage Museum and Gardens and the Sandwich boardwalk at sunset. Great places to eat- Beth's Bakery & Cafe (walking distance) , Cafe Chew and The Local. (those are driving distance). Sandwich is a great little town! DWI did not dissappoint!

One of the worst places I have ever stayed Absolutely awful. If I could give a zero star, I would. I NEVER leave reviews, but I want to help someone avoid a bad experience. I wanted a quiet room, so when I booked, the person in reservations suggested an upgraded room. The room was in an annex behind the Inn that looked like a motel. It was very dated (as is the entire hotel), the bed and linens are like what you would get at a motel, and no wifi service. When I called the front desk to inquire about the wifi access, they said the rooms in the back don't get service because they were too far from the main Inn. That was the least of my issues. When I checked out, I told the desk person about my experience. She recommended I call the next day because there wasn't a Manager on duty. I called back the next day and spoke with the same person who now informed me that Manager wouldn't be back until after the weekend. It was the 4th of July, so it was odd that there wasn't a manager on duty for a long holiday weekend, so I called and opted for the administrative offices. I was put through to the Manager on duty, Christy. I told her about my experience and how the front desk person lied to me and told me there wasn't a Manager on duty and was also rude and abrasive. Christy said she would get back to me. She never did. I have since left two messages with no response. I go to the Cape at least 5-6 times a season and stay at various places. This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had. The place is bad enough, but the management and staff are even worse. I recommend that anyone looking to stay in Sandwich avoid the Daniel Webster and opt for the Belfy, which is around the corner from the Inn. The place is much nicer, and the management is very accommodating. Run, don't walk!

A nice stay This is a historic inn, located in Sandwich, Ma. While it is a bit pricey, I think it is worth it. We stayed in a deluxe room with colonial furnishings. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the location is superb. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed due to a fire. I recommend this for couples.
