Conveient location. Average facility. I spent three nights at the Hampton Inn and Suites Santa Ana/ Orange County Airport while traveling for work. The location provides easy highway access, is close to the airport and to Tustin. There are numerous fast food restaraunts in the vicinity and a mexican restaurant within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was well maintained and offered a few hot items, yogurt, cereal, bread, frruit and a waffle maker. Hot beverages are available in the lobby. The first room I was assigned had a strong pet accident odor coming from the bedroom closet. As I had checked in to the room late in the day, I did not notice it until I prepared for bed. I could also hear people walking on the floor above. When I informed the desk clerk of the odor,she informed me that all of the rooms were "pet friendly". The staff cleaned the carpet in my room at my request. The smell was not eliminated. The desk clerk offered to change my room. I was given a corner room on the top floor. In addition to smelling fresh, the room was much quieter. The hotel lobby is modern. The rooms appear dated and some of the furnishing are worn. There is a $25 per day parking fee to park in the hotel lot.

I did not ask for a waterbed! I stayed there three times in 2 weeks. 1st time, the shower did not work. 2nd time was ok shower worked, but no eggs at breakfast. 3rd stay was last week and when I went to bed the bed was soaked with water. I complained and was able to move rooms at 11 pm and was told they would compensate me. To date, no contact from a manager and I was charged full price. There are other options for my next visit.

Don't stay here! No hot water! Poor experience. No hot water, poor shower head pressure. Could never rinse shampoo out of hair. Bathroom tile filthy. Only every other day room service. Door to bathroom swung IN - very odd. Hot water heater issues throughout stay. Had water shutoff on Friday. Breakfast was good. Stayed 5 nights. Want my 200,000 Hilton points back.

Water and Black gunk coming out of bathtub! Good location. That’s it. Not enough parking for guests. Guys smoking THC in parking lot. The worst was the shower. Only 1 person showered and 5 minutes later tub started bubbling and black gunk was coming up from the pipes! Disgusting! They came promptly and the maintenance guy with no tools in hand, ran the water and said he didn’t see a problem because it was draining! The water had drained by the time he came. I showed him the pictures of the tub filled with water and he can clearly see the black gunk still in the bathtub. He left and stated he was coming back. My family left with no shower, I wasn’t going to risk that stuff coming up in the middle of their shower!

Fairly Dated Facility This hotel was fairly dated. It was a little dark and the hotel needed quite a bit of updating. The room furniture was older as well. However, they were very friendly and helpful at the front desk. The Wi-Fi wasn't great. They do give you bottled water when you arrive. And the hotel is only a short distance from the John Wayne airport.
